Trinchieri loses the German semifinal against Ulm (games 0-3!) and concludes officially his Bayern career.

Let's see if he manages to work again in El.

Ulm has pretty good Brazilian C/F Bruno Caboclo, which is rumored to be point of interest of Maccabi... Not sure if he is good enough, but we"ll see in couple of weeks, after the end of season in Israel.

About Maccabi's choices I have already watched Angola playing for AEK. A tough SF similar to Coulson I would say. I think that he can play the EL.

Maccabi Tel-Aviv are targeting Arnoldas Kulboka for next season. talks on a two years contract already begun

It seems Erdem Can and Efes are safe now. Erdem Can will also bring one Turkish guy from TT Ankara to Efes and its Erkan Yilmaz. A larentzakis type player who makes the dirty jobs like defending, rebounding and partly giving the ball a direction. Very athletic and intense guy who must develop his outside shot but coach Can knows what he can do on the court.
a massive difference between Yilmaz and Larentzakis is that the former cannot shoot. I like him though, he's a fighter, and he'd be a huge upgrade over the useless, soft-ass local players we have. Plus, he's a rare bright spot from his generation. All of his classmates sucked big time after having great youth tournaments.

speaking of Yilmaz-type players, where is Tarpey? He was such a useful player with the French NT. Edit: he's with Le Mans. I'm surprised not seeing him in the EL.

Other names are Williams and Jones who reminds me of the young days of Dunston tbh. Sanli could be another addition but FB is also interested. According to some sources the rising star of the FIBA CL, Sadik Emir Kabaca, is also finished.
which Williams?
Not sure if Jones is good enough for the EL, but an athletic big is badly needed. So, why not bring someone the coach already knows well. PS. if he's at 25% of Dunston's peak level, that's great,

Thats what I wrote. He indeed has to work on his shot but he can help in terms of rebounding and defense which is badly needed. Nevertheless, his value would increase much when the shot comes around and its not like he is Dogus Balbay or Nick Calathes.

He is good, believe me, he will have an impact like Motley but not just offensively but Efes needs another big who can defend. Zizic is really trash. He needs to go.

Caboclo or Josh Nebo + Jones + Sanli would be enough.

Monsieur Tarpey has played his last game with Le Mans and is joining Monaco for three years.:)

I hope he will play better than in AEK, more like in Turkey. I saw some videos when he gone wild in AEK games, throwing bricks in series. But according to later highlights he was improving.
And Coulson is much bigger with huge wing span. Not sure they are very similar. Bonzie is great!!!!

Would be nice, he can add some variety, and very good shot with very long range. Good age. Not sure about his defence, but he could fit Kattash's system. We will see. One, maximum one and a half weeks, and season ends, so we"ll see more news I guess.
There was also report on Walla that Poythress will not continue, not sure how I feel about it. Based on last season, yes, he wasn't very good. But overall he is good player.

Panathinaikos is supposed to be close to sign Mike James.
I hope it is not true.

I will be happy if it happens. It would also mean that S.Obradovic remains where he is.

What's going on between Dorsey and Fener?

About Maccabi, I would keep Poythress and release Nebo.

Are you really a fan of S. Obradovic or more an anti-Panathinaikos? :p
Whatever is going on between Dorsey and Fener could be a sign of his replacement by Walkup in the national team.

No, I will be happy if Monaco gets rid of him, I don't care where he will play next year. But considering his huge contract only if he finds another team willing to pay him a lot of money he will leave.

DPG seems to adore Mike James and he will be probably willing to pay a lot of money for him. Let's see if Ataman is on the same page.

Well, I would keep both. Just sign stretch 4, and not stretch 4/5 as rumors said in recent weeks. Poythress, when he will be in better form and better attuned to team, is pretty good. Nebo gives better defence, including PnR, better finish, and better rebound. Three centers would be enough. Then we will have Angola, Blatt as replacement guards (instead of Ziv/Hollins). And then we can get stretch 4, instead of Hilliard (great player, but it is clear he doesn't fit Kattash's system)... May be another tall Israeli player instead of retiring Pnini. That's it. Unless Maccabi will make mistake and retain Jalen Adams, G-d forbid.

mta fans who wish keeping nebo and pythress (as martin i guess) .. what else?

It seems like Efes and E. Bryant agreed to extend the contract. Great news. He's easily been the best Efes player this year.

Hopefully Barca sticks with the biggest fraud of the coaching history. That way we already know which team doesn't win next year.

That way we already know which team qualifies to F4.
