According to Ugur Ozan Sulak FB and Papagiannis is finished thing for the next season.

Anadolu Efes and Sadik Emir Kabaca is also safe for the next season. According to several sources GS NEF will get 550K Dollar buyout.

Nigel Hayes- Davis extends 2+1 with Fener.

One of the best combo forwards in Europe at the moment, right? How many good players come from Zalgiris....

Sulak is pretty reliable. I guess he will replace Kostas Antetokounpo. Not a bad move.

Sadık Kabaca seems to be a done deal for Efes, too. Heard it from another reliable source (Umut Akıncıoğlu) a few weeks ago. He also had said the door for Osmani is also wide open, if Efes is willing to pay. I personally think both of these kids should avoid Efes, but money is sweet I guess.

I mean, we can't really call him a Zalgiris product, can we?

It's debatable (I know he was good in Galatasaray previously), but my point was that Zalgiris is that first EL stage where guys learn and adjust to EL level. And Jasikevicius this way developed a lot of elite or borderline elite players in his Zalgiris' stretch. For example, Brandon Davies was absolutely lost at first, like literally. But then he became one of the best mobile centers in EL. The same transformation of Th. Walkup. He was SG on the paper, but after a struggle Jasikevicius suggested him an opportunity to play at 1 and he embraced that and learned and became dominant PG. That's why I say that Jasikevicius invented many players.

But even last season there was Josh Nebo.

Oly renew Mackissic contract for 2 more years and Walkup contract for 4 more years. If they expire theirs contacts both of them will be 35 and Walkup is going to be the foreigner with the most years in the team (6 years) and Mackissic the second one (5,5 years). Good job Oly.

Wade Baldwin extends to 2+1 contract with Maccabi. No signing yet, but after Walla reported about it some week ago, Sport5 confirmed it today. JohnDi also rumored to add two more years contract.
Talks with Martin and Coulson are in full steam as well. Hopefully we will have most of the roster extended, with just slight tuning in summer. It.seems that probably only Oly. Maccabi, and two Serbian teams will go without big changes next season.

Vildoza done deal to panathinaikos for 3 years. Rumours also for campazzo, lessort (both seem pretty tough to happen), papapetrou, rogkavopoulos, moraitis,Kostas antetokunbo. And ataman as the coach.

Out for sure Williams,Walters. We have option to renew grigonis, lee, bacon and thomas. Ponitka probably out as well. And papagiannis switched agents last month. He was closer to leaving back in winter, now staying looks more possible

I heard about Ataman, too. Quite a weird development imho, difficult to imagine him in Athens.

Why are we signing players before a coach? We just can’t seem to learn from past mistakes.

Bonzi Colson extends his contract until 24/25, with only exit option to NBA next summer (23/24)

I wouldnt keep Grigonis in the team, especially not if I sign Rogkavopoulos. Papapetrou is a joke but you can give him the role he has now with ZOC. Cant say much about Moraitis but he wont be able to have an impact right away. Kostas A. i wouldnt sign either. It only makes sense for me if you lose Papagiannis and you need a Greek big for the A1.

Rokgavopoulos should be your main target indeed. This guy is the most talented player that I have seen since Charalampopoulos. He is without a doubt EL ready. Great rebounder, great spot up shooter who can additionally create a bit for himself and he is also an ok passer. Ataman can use his full potential for sure.

I care mostly about the coach that PAO will sign. If it's going to be Ataman, I wonder how welcome he will feel by the fans..

you dont have to wait for an official announcement for a coach to start getting players. maybe the coach has already agreed and the moves are made in agreement with him.

all of these have greek passports and its the only reason the team will go for them. mitrou long as well if he gets greek passport. apart from that moraitis will just be a replacement for bochoridis, probably not even on the 12man squad in euroleague. we need 6 for greek league though and the only sure ones are agravanis and mantzoukas.
papapetrou is ok if we want to full the backcourt with foreigners and let space for mantzoukas to play more than this season.

i would only take kostas antetokunbo as 3rd center. this dude is not a basketball player,he is even worse than thanasis who is a clown. the only reason these guys keep getting contracts is because they are giannis' brothers. and he is not even a young guy who might improve later. he is already 25,5. he is a low domestic league level player, more like a player for karditsa or kolossos. he showed this year in fener that he is not even good as a 3rd center on a euroleague team. the rumours about him are that he has high expectations for himself demanding to be at least 2nd center,it was the reason he wasnt signed by olympiakos last season. he should understand that his only connection with the sport is his height and his brother, cause apart from that he is probably the least talented player in euroleague

not weird and has also been praised many times by giannakopoulos during the friendly games at OAKA every september, with efes being the team constantly participating. plus he has humilated obradovic many times, which by itself adds points to him, showing his coaching ability.

he is also known for his hot temperament, which is needed for benches like ours. and for sure he is a good coach, 2 euroleagues (should have been 3 if we count 2020) prove that. on the other hand saras is highly overrated as a coach,he would be a good choice only because he would bring peace with the fans but his last seasons are a disappointment with huge budgets and laso with his health problems idk if he could withstand the pressure. pasqual would be the only good alternative but i dont think he is gonna leave russia this summer. there are no other good coaches, trinchieri, sfairopoulos or others are jokes on par with the clown we had this season, radonjic

Someone would say that Radonjic has also "humiliated" Obradovic multiple times. His "coaching" did not work for us though..
Let's see how many times Ataman will leave OAKA before the end of the game, due to his "so useful" hot temper.
About Laso's health condition, there will not be more pressure for him in Athens in comparison to coaching a team that leads in EL, like Barcelona or Real. But I think he must have rejected PAO's offer.

I would also prefer Laso over Ataman but Laso has many choices and one of them is Efes with a way better roster and budget. Do you really think you can get him with Mantzoukas, the Kalaitzakis bros or Papapetrou? There is no way. Even Bayern has better chances to get him. Ataman is surely not a good coach within the games but if you let him build a roster he can create a great, well functioning team.

I think Laso would feel less pressured to lead PAO to quarter finals rather than sign to Efes to win the trophy. Besides that, it was supposed that he would select the players and that D. Giannakopoulos would be willing to spend money on the team.
Ataman in PAO?? It feels like a bad dream..
