I think one of Serbian clubs has to be regular participiant, not from ABA league but from Serbian league. 2nd team should be from Croatia, Montenegro or Slovenia. Not in this moment of course, but in future. I see only Buducnost invest in this moment and has some support from the state, but traditional basketball countries like Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia don't care at all. Arenas in Zagreb and Ljubljana are better then 90% El arenas, but rich people from that countries don't want to invest that much in the clubs. Cibona and Split have 5 EL titles with core of domestic players.

BTW I don't think ABA legue has future regarding mafia rules there. That what happened with Nunnaly is shame for basketball. I am the last one who will support him, it's known (to say it kindly) that I don't like him. But that what happened to him is shameful, he was brutal atacked it;s obvious, but at the end he was declared a bully. I still think that CZ is better team and thay would have win the serie anyway but this kind of provocation of players in the gym outside court shouldn't be tolerated.

Wait, Nunnaly is attacked and he is victim?

Before that incidents, this happend in game 2.. Btw before this they didnt had any duel, Lazarevic just got in first time then at the end of the game:

After that reportdely they met in Arena after trainings, and they probably get in some argument and Nunnely first punch him and then go on floor like a pussy, pleasing to mercy:

It is clear that Nunnaly punched him first at this video AND THEN they going on floor. And yes ABA is mafia organization, they should suspended Nunnaly after grabbing Lazarevic neck without any reason, they didnt done it so this problem is also their fault.

I saw this from different angles, but it;s big difference when you do something on the court and outside in some hall or tunnel.
You didn;t show video when Lazarevic approaches to Nunnaly from the back and start talking, we all know that wasn;t some statement of love. that's why I think he is gulity 100% for provocation

After that who punched first in situation of high pressure, harsh words and maybe fear, is irrelevant.

You saw the angles, Partizan wante to present, today is so easy manipulate with people, you also probably didnt knew situation which lead to this.
There was not shameful provocation from Lazarevic, he just wanted to get things clear.. Of course there was not bad words but Nunnaly cant be victim there in any case.
Only shameful provocations should be on that game when they already lost match and he grabbing Lazarevic neck..

To be clear, i am not saying that Lazarevic is victim, not at all but it is pretty irritating to read that Nunnaly is victim and he is attacked.
But there was not some provocation on purpose he just want get things clear because before Nunnaly grabbing him to neck there was not any duel between them or anything, Lazarevic just subbed in for first time at that game.

Ok, one question for you, cos I obviously can't ask Lazarevic:)

Why he didn't react instantly after that grabbing, why he waited for a tunnel to get things clear? If he was upset(with the reason btw) why he didn't punch Nunnally right away on the court, that was in front of home crowd and the worst could happen to him was disqualification, but that is part of the sport and we saw that many times.

He waited for this on the game 3 day, I want to believe that he wasn't instructed, but anyway he doesn't have any need to talk about anything with opponent players except on the court

Because he was hella confused for this reaction because like i told 5 times they didnt touched each others in game, and refs fast came and gave tech for both??:p

Anyway, I always considered Nunnally as stupid player with low iq and he proves that from season to season. Obradovic likes him from some strange reason, but I think he finished with Partizan after this. I just hope idiots from Fener won't come to idea to bring him back here.

We went so far of this subject about new singings, reportedly Nikola Kalinic is done real for Zvezda, 2 years contract.

Giedraitis will stay?

No informations yet, he said in interview that he wans to stay but thats it, no other infos.
I hope he will stay, he play defense so good and play on both sides on court.. Shot was not perfect this season for him but it will come.

Him and Kalinic is good duo for position 3. Backcourt is already one of the best(don't curse me for this:)), if Thompkins stays(Mitovic will be there too) it's only one center and maybe one guard away from quite competetive roster

Croatia has one very rich guy that wanted to buy Cibona but the ex mayor and his corrupted friends didn't allow him to have 100% ownership so he decided to buy Cedevita. 1st in Zagreb then in Ljubljana. He invested nice money but didn't want to invest much more because there were no fans. If he was allowed to buy Cibona I am 100% sure that team would be in the EL now. No one cares about Cedevita in Zagreb and now he kinda gave up with big investements even in Ljubljana because there are no fans. Basketball doesn't exist in Croatia anymore in big cities except in Zadar. People only care about football. It's tragic but it what it is. And I agree about arenas. Zagreb has huge arena, Split also, even Zadar has bigger than some current EL teams but there is no one willing to buy these clubs because basketball is just not profitable and Croatian rich people will rather give 2M euros to Hajduk Split so they can buy 2 half professional foreign footballers than invest that in basketball club Split.

I am actually very interested what will Partizan do during the summer. Punter's contract is horrible. They have a lot of guys that are just not worth the contract they have like Jaramaz, Leday, Kaminsky...obviously Kaminsky will not return. I am not sure what will be with Ponitka but the way Obradovic plays I don't think Ponitka is worth to stay for 500k per year. If they can they need to try get rid both of Punter and Leday. They earn too much. Let say Punter earns 2 - 2.5M per year. That's 1M more than what Nunn gets right now. And Punter seriously might be one of the worst players in Partizan this year. He got the contract based on that series against Real. Leday is just not the guy that can be your starting PF if you want to be F4 team. He is just not consistent. Especially when his backup is Smailagic...Marinkovic is great addition for them. If they can bring Lucic that would be great. They need beast in the paint, something like Nebo(Milan?) or even Poythress that would be cheaper option. Trevion Williams is amazing player that would be cheap. Jaylen Hoard or Vito Brown instead Leday so you will have more money to splash on other positions. And most of all they need good PG and SF. One guy like Calathes would be perfect.

You forgot that we signed Vildoza for next season..:D
Also we are in talks with Bonzie Colson.. It look like that we will make competative roster.

We had this discussion a couple of months ago and you didn’t come up with a convincing example of a team that actually develops young players. Only cannon fodders like Alba that players use as a first step for the Euroleague.

What about Zalgiris?? :) I mean, I'm not talking exactly about young players, but players who don't have euroleague expirience and need chance. Guys like Pangos or Walkup, now Evans or Hayes. Where will they play in euroleague if not in teams like Alba or Zalgiris?

You still trying man.
I strongly dislike Partizan, but Serbia deserve to have 2 teams in Euroleague every season. Cause we are probably biggest basketball country in Europe, because passionate fans, because every week Belgrade can pack 40.000 people in Arena (when both is host), because of ethernal derby, and even we have solid budgets.

You're saying that Serbia deserve two spots but Serbia don't have clubs except Partizan and Red Star so you're basically saying that Partizan and Red Star should always play in Euroleague.
You see, Spain has best league in continent by far. They have Baskonia, Unicaja, Valencia, Joventut, Murcia and so on and so on. And if someone say that they should have only one spot (Baskonia) and Serbia two, that's not something that I can understand. I mean, sure, Belgrade clubs have fans, but turkish or greek or israeli or italian or lithuanian or croatian clubs also have fans, they just don't receive any money from their state.
So, let's face it, serbian clubs are in euroleague because they can now fight for players like Nikola Mirotic. That's why they have so much fans now, because they receive more money from their state than ever before. But, imagine Partizan with some low level quality players and mediocre coach. Will they be interesting for euroleague, for fans, for media? I guess the answer is, obviously, no. So, first came money, then came fame, then came 20 thousands fans and wild cards every single year.
Lithuania is completely another subject. :) For them, basketball is like state religion, even roman catholicism can't compare with that. Partizan is great club for sure, but Partizan is like Real Madrid or something, they share name with big football club and that's why they have so much fans.
I mean, do you have basketball club with lots of fans which is not part of some football club system? You have Mega, but it's seems that they don't have any fans at all. :(

I dont agree with you at all but okay, thats ur opinion.

About Mega, owner of this club is Misko Raznatovic, one of the biggest agente and that club is for young players to have a lot of minutes in ABA league and show quality and sign for other team, when Zvezda and Partizan dont play in Mega hall, at that game probably attend just families of players sadly.

Hezonja is getting so much on my nerves. He is just trying to get the biggest contract possible and just talks nice about every team. In Berlin if Pao vs Real will be in the finals or 3rd place game he will definitely sing songs, salute to the fans etc. I hope Real will not increase their offer and even more I hope DPG will be cold and offer him sign or "we have other options" contract. 2 faces childish 29 yo. No wonder no one likes him in Croatia. He can only get positive reactions when he is licking *something* of the members of certain fan bases.

But why is that if Serbia is so crazy about basketball, like you said? I mean, look at Philippines. They have no success in basketball whatsoever, their competition have no quality at all, they national team had some of the most devastating loses in history of basketball and yet, they are one of the biggest basketball fanatics in the world.
To have 20 thousand fans in your Arena is something. But show me passion and devotion to the team when that team don't have much hope to achieve something, and for that I can tip my hat (not that it means anything, but like you said, it's just one man opinion :)).
For me, Zalgiris fans are best in competition, but that's highly subjective thought. :D
