Honestly I never understood hype about him before the draft. I remember how all Knicks fans were pissed off because Knicks drafted Ntilikina instead him. At the end both are busts.
But D.Smith in his first NBA season averaged 15 pts and was top5 rookie of the season. That was an achievement.

Bango might have a deal, does Zaragoza have a deal? :P My understanding from the Panathinaikos situation was that the player wanted to come but the team was asking for 700k.

Fenerbahce will pay, no problem. Fenerbahce always has money.

Antetokoumpo won't continue with Pao according to Ataman. I'm very curious as to what happened that was so bad.

What a significant loss. Would even claim that this loss is more devastating than the injury of Lessort.

I'm more sad about Kostas' state of mind. I know all of them personally (before they became world famous), Giannis' and Thanasis' work ethic is unmatched and they were really good heated humble kids. It just saddens me that Kostas doesn't realize that he's only playing riding the coattails of his brother.

Well he will keep getting contracts because of his surname and its not surprising that he is a bit spoiled. Giannis saved his whole family with his work ethic and he is also very devoted to his family so my mercy is very limited towards him.

Daniel Theis was waived and Pao fans collectively are just drooling for the prospect of getting him.

And Fener was in pursuit for center so long, we could have waited a few more days after all:)

Daniel theiss is free agent now, we tried to sign him at summer, he was close but found a contract at the end. ataman said today, that we might actually get a player. he can play at 4 as well, so he would be a good move.
micic will come at summer, brown is a tourist, so he can either stay in the courts with 2 million per year until his career ends, or he can just go away asap. nobody is gonna miss him. we had expectations, he didnt meet them so we should go for the next one, we should stick to a 35 year old

From the weird language of SDNA reporters "I'm saying but I'm not really saying....you guess...you said it I didn't say it" it seems probable that Antetokoumpo might actually get traded for a different Greek center. Some people have mentioned the name of Karagiannidis but nothing is certain. On top of that Ataman didn't deny the possibility of getting a big but it needs to be a good one (whatever that means).

Lmfao...Karagiannidis is huge trash. I would rather play Moraitis at C. I mean, okay, he would be 3rd C, but still...give Samodurov chance at PF, play Mitoglou at 5 until Yurtseven comes back. We can lose 2 games in Greece and we would still be 1st so no need to play the best players a lot. Brown, Mitoglou, Papi, Moraitis...they all need to play big minutes in Greece.

I know I am probably in huge minority but Theis for me is not the best player for Europe. Especially now when he is a little bit older. NBA style, rules, courts is much more for him.

I'm curious as to why you say that. I'm not saying he's Hakeem but he's a decent defender, rebounder and has an ok shot from outside.

Exactly. He is decent in everything but not great in anything. I don't trust him from the 3pt line and he doesn't have elite game under the basket. He doesn't have the quickest feets so he suffers a lot in the p&r. And in offense, no defensive 3 seconds is making him a lot of problems because as I said he is not great in anything regarding offense. He needs great PG and space in the paint to be good. I am not saying he is bad, but I think he is max 10 points per game player as a starting C in the best teams in the Europe. We will see if he comes...

Though current position is decent Fener might have a problem in case of tiebreakers. We are negative vs 3 of top5 teams. The only one positive tiebreaker vs Oly probably won't help much. Paris game will be crutial imo, then Monaco

I am confused. Last time I checked Theis was an undersized, mobile PF/C who was able to switch everything.
