Wait a second...Efes actually gave 15M dollars to Larkin for 4 year contract?!!!!!! This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard in sports:rolleyes:

No the dumbest thing was paying 1 milion buyout for wilbeclown
2nd dumbest thing was bringing Can as coach
3rd dumbest thing is giving 2 years contract to Mijatovic
this is 4th dumbest thing but not from Efes(this is great move for them), but Larkin made a big mistake, He should have come to Fener

stupid, stupid decision. also locking up your future. I cannot believe it.

now, the most fitting move would be to re-sign Clyburn for 4 years, too. and bring back Zizic.

Believe or not I intented to write the same:eek:
Just I would add Jones as player of the future, minimum 4 years contract:)

If you can keep Larkin, you do it.

16M usd for 4 years? If they dump Clyburn and Thompson then this is good decision. Larkin ain't the guy that brings you at the top. He is and always will be the Robin. You need Batman! If they have money for Batman then I suppose this is okay move but I doubt they have. I said the same for Sloukas. We needed that transfer so other players can see us as a serious team during the transfer window in the summer but I would never ever put all the confidence just in Sloukas that we can be at the top. That's why we signed Nunn. And I believe if Nunn stays he is clear MVP next year. Efes needs one more guy let say like Evans.

They need Diallo instead of Clyburn in 1st place, and center like Milutinov instead of Jones. Just two changes are enough imo
Mijatovic will need to show character if he wants to stay as a coach

Krunoslav Simon“With two or three quality reinforcements, we can watch Anadolu Efes in the Final Four again.”

I just read this and saw that this Efes's legend said exactly the same what I wrote in previous post. Just I couldn't agree with his opinion about Mijatovic

A trustworthy Turkish basketball page claims that Real Madrid is in Contact with Furkan Korkmaz.

https://basketfaul.com.tr/avrupa/furkan-korkmaz-reale-mi/

Craziest part about Real is that next year they will beeven better very likely.

So Rodriguez should retire. Alocen will probably take his spot or Nunez. They didn't lose anything, they will actually gain a lot. And they will free a lot of money from Rodriguez's salary.

Rudy is retiring. Causer is also out as it seems. Imagine Korkmaz instead them 2...Musa will stay I think but even if he leaves if they sign Sirvyidis they are stikk good. Poirier maybe leaves, maybe don't...but I am sure if he leaves they will bring good replacement like they always do. Osetkowski would be very interesting because he is so different player than Tavares-Poirier...Campazzo would feed him like crazy on pick&pop. And there is huge chance anyone who comes instead Poirier will be much cheaper.

Their only 2 problems are possible departures of Tavares-Hezonja. I think Hezonja is gone. I am not trying to be new saras but I have 2 reasons why I seriously think that's the case.
1. - one basketball anchor in Croatia that is very connected with Croatian national team and has a lot of selfies and interviews with Hezonja(Hezonja said he is his favourite basketball guy to listen lol) even travels with them on championships, tournaments...etc has said in his basketball broadcast studio that Hezonja is done with Real. One of guests has said something like "who knows will Hezonja stay", and he responded "Oh, he will not stay. Trust me". That was before couple of weeks.
2. - I have red one interview also in Croatian newspapers where one agent that has a lot of clients in the Euroleague and even in the NBA said that he is 100% sure Hezonja leaves. But he thinks he goes to the NBA.
I hope he comes to Panathinaikos. I can see him only in the NBA instead. I would be super shocked if he even considers Partizan let alone goes...that would be like Campazzo goes to Turk Telekom. Not because Partizan is bad but that's just unimaginable for me for a lot of reasons.
And with Hezonja leaving I think they should just give more time to Abalde. They will sign someone but with Deck, Yabusele, Abalde and one more good guy(Ojeleye?) they are still crazy good on the wings.

And Tavares...I mean, if they keep him they are already winners of the summer market. If they lose him it will be tough to replace him. I think Garuba will come back probably but they would still need one huge signing. Maybe they keep then Poirier and they bring back Garuba and they didn't lose a lot. They have so many options...

Anyway, if Tavares stays and even if Hezonja leaves Real will for me somehow be even better next year because they will get rid of older players and bring new young weapons that are way better now. And if both of them leaves I would still stay they arebbetter if they find decent replacements for both like Ojeleye and duo Poirier-Garuba.

As long as the final four system stays there will always be a question mark. Remember 2012 the final four in Istanbul.

In Saras's place I would make just one replace and it cost 1.5 to 2 milions, That's Evans or Jones from Valencia. Considering that Zagars will be 1st pg(don;t know what will happen with Neto), I would keep Calathes as 2nd pg. Dorsey should stay as backup for Evans or Jones

Zagars, Calathes
Evans. Dorsey, Wilbeclown
Biberovic, Pierre
Davis, Sestina
Papa, Motley, Sanli

Pierre and Willbeclown have one more year contract, so I had to put them. This is F4 roster, though not the best , cos Pao, Real and Oly will probaly be even stronger next season

Nunn renews with PANATHINAIKOS, probably for 2 years with nba clause for this summer. I guess it will be big with a date of expiration (for example 15th or 31st july) that nunn wont be able to get what he might want from the nba. I cant see any team giving him guaranteed contract with 6 or 7 millions per year, to tie his contract with PANATHINAIKOS, which will be somewhere between 3 and 3.5 million per year, without tax

the rest are already known. hezonja will probably be the first transfer and we will look for a center to partner lessort (tavares, poirier some of the targets from what we have read, i would add daniel theiss fi he leaves the nba and he is exactly what ataman would have in his team and doesnt have this year, a shooting big. he imagined balcerowski as this guy, but it didnt work out). I have something else in mind though because DPG is a sadist and there is no way he wont make a move for vezenkov if he comes back. and that would be
vezenkov-juancho
lessort-mitoglou-antetokunbo

Mitoglou is not a great shooter but he is perfect as a shooting center, check his games against loserbiakos where he mostly plays as a center and pulls fall or milutinov in the perimeter draining 3s and allowing us to get many offensive rebounds cause their center is 7 meters away from the basket

apart from these 2 it will be either vildoza (doesnt look that good for him) or someone else. with sloukas, grant, nunn, grigonis as the backcourt, even if we dont get someone like micic, there are some good players to choose from. for example if valencia is kicked out of euroleague, chris jones would be a perfect fit.

And nunn's renewal is "official' from DPG's story on instagram where he brought out the contracts

Great job for DPG. Nunn is worth more then 2.5 milions per season
Regarding Larkin is payed almost 4 milions I think he deserves at least the same.
But considering that Larkin is EL legend already and the best Efes;s player in history they maybe made a gift to him with one milion or two comparing what he delivers in this moment

I am realy stuned with Nunn;s performance, it reminds me on Larkin's 2019/2020 season which is canceled by Euromafia

Ok, so I was thinking a little bit already about next season. Panathinaikos made great run in the EL and this is already huge. Everyone in the squad has contract for the next year. Ataman loves Grigonis and he has 3 year contract so there is no way he will be 3rd option on SF or SG. Why is it Hezonja necessary then? Especially if we win everything I doubt Ataman would get rid of any player. So my only theory is that Vildoza will be out. But who will pick his 1.7M contract? No one! He will have to take a huge paycut...or maybe he will gamble and stay here and fight for the playing time like Grigonis did. Hezonja at 4 is not an option because Juancho stays 100%. DPG and fans love him. He is playing better and better and has huge contract and is a great lockeroom guy. Also idk what will happen with Grant. There were talks about contract till 2026. but nothing official and he plays not very good in the last couple of months but I am like 90% sure he will stay. So my only logic is that this is going to happen -

PG - Sloukas, Grant, Moraitis(?)
SG - Nunn, Grigonis
SF - Hezonja, Papapetrou, Kalaitzakis
PF - Mitoglou, Juancho
C - Lessort, ?, Antetokoumpo

Balcerowski will leave surely. Probably on the loan. So if Vildoza stays I doubt we will get anyone except center. There is no need. And Ataman as we know always plays with 8 players max. Idk, maybe as I look this squad one more PG/SG would be needed if some injury happens. Anyway, sweet problems!

I believe that we will look for maximum 3 players (sdna lackeys said 3-4). A SF, a C, and someone in place of Vildoza.

Then Papapetrou will play 2 mins per game. Never mind, he was always the guy for the big games at the end! If Vildoza is out I just hope they will not sign some player like Guy...I want good defender and playmaker. Calathes! :p

Uros Plavsic new player of Zvezda. Very interesting move. He has incredible season in ABA league. Definitely 5 times better than Kuzmic or Gillespie.
