And what team is laughing stock for years of those teams I said? Because he is businessman and doesn't need to spend money that ain't his so he can win elections. Also, he builds new arena, how is he quitting?

Outside of those 6-8 teams, pretty much all you mentionned are either laughing stock (Asvel, Alba) or very mediocre (Bayern, Valencia, Zalgiris, Baskonia Virtus). Oh, yeah, Milan is pretty much a laughing stock. But not becasue they don't invest, mainly because they don't have an idea how to make a good team. So, my question is very precise, if they are led by billionaries, why don't they invest a little bit more and try to at least make the playoffs on more consistent basis? Or maybe for the first time ever for some of them.

The rumor is Valencia is not playing Euroleague next season. We will see what happens. Also, big question mark on Virtus. They may drop out too. Segafredo Zanetti is out. So, as you can see, you have confirmation of what I have been trying to tell you - outside of those few teams, no one is safe in Euroleague. There is always some kind of uncertainty. I guess they should look for State's funding too. LoL

And what is Zvezda?! If I remember correctly they are from 2014 in the EL with 1 season in the EC where they couldn't even advance from the group phase. So in 9 seasons they have 1 playoff series where they won 0 games! INCREDIBLE RESULTS!

Partizan since Obradovic in 3 seasons with I can say pretty nice budgets year by year has -
embarrassing defeat against Bursa and Alimpijevic where John Holland was 1st wing! In the full Stark Arena! With by far the biggest budget in the EC.
2 wins in the series against Real. The same Real that played the worst and had the worst situation since 2016. That's not taking anything from Partizan but the truth. The same way I would lie if I say Panathinaikos defeated the best Maccabi ever! Haha, we had so much luck. But we managed to beat them, you didn't.
Partizan before Obradovic I don't even want to mention. That was just so bad. And that's fine.

In the same 10 years, Valencia has 2 EC trophies, 2 times they were runner ups. They even won Spanish league which is tougher to win than EC. Virtus EC, Italian league. Zalgiris have been on the F4. Baskonia won Spanish league, F4 in 2016. Bayern played twice in the playoffs in those 10 years so more than Zvezda. Alba EC finals, multiple German leagues. Asvel is crap but hey, even they have been in the F4 their history. So you see, they have better results than any Serbian club;)

And it's funny how you now complain that Armani doesn't know how to make proper plan. They still have been a lot of times in the 1/4 and F4. You don't like when they don't invest. Now when they invest you don't like because it's not proper. But hey, Zvezda in 10 years really showed how to invest money, or Partizan in 3 years with Obradovic. 1st season nothing, last year ABA league and wins against Real, well done.... and this year 0 trophies, 6 defeats against Zvezda in a row! I think you should call Armani's front office and show them how to make great roster and results! Ha-ha-ha

Can you please stay focused and in line with the subject of discussion? We are not talking about achievements in domestic leagues or freaking Eurocup. We are talking about Eurolegue and only about Euroleague. I don't care about domestic leagues, I don't care about Eurocup, we are discussing about Euroleague here. Obradovic doesn't give a fuck about Eurocup. He didn't come to Paritzan to win or play in Eurocup. Do you get it?

Zvezda has been bad in Euroleague. But my question was why all those financially mighty teams (you elaborated that many rich people, organizations are funding them) can't do shit in Euroleague? I didn't ask you what they did in domestic leagues or Eurocup. I would expect billionaires to be way more frequent in Euroleague's playoffs than Zvezda. But it turns out some of them haven't still been there or some of them are just merely more successful than Zvezda. And Zvezda has been mostly not good. But with a lot less money. So I would expect those billionaires to be significantly better than Zvezda for example. Reality says no. So they are either not billionaires or their billionaires are very cheap. Or they just don't know how to make a competitive team. I'm bringing this because you are very into 'money argument' and yet you see how that money for a large portion of teams don't mean much and doesn't translate to success. They are very unsuccessful. In fact, way more than Zvezda given how much money they have, if I trust your elaboration on their funding. So, something is not right there. You might think about that much more than Zvezda's lack of success.

Now preach some more how Valencia won Eurocup, Alba's success in German league and much more...if that's how you justify their lack of success in Euroleague...with all that money in their pocket. LOL

Serbians and people who support their cause (which is permanent place for their clubs) are like that guys who showed up to the Star Trek party with lightsabers in their hands claiming that there is no difference because it's science fiction in space, right? :) Well, just like that, Serbians and people who support their cause can see that euroleague are almost closed league with permanent members, they see that there is no clubs with small fanbase or historically not so much successful clubs (like AEK, Olimpija, Bursaspor, Karsiyaka, Bourg, Zadar, Bamberg, Buducnost, Rytas, Trento, and so for and for...), so they jump to the conclusion that euroleague should be closed league, but for clubs with great fans and rich history, like Red Star or Partizan.
But, the very reason why Euroleague is almost closed league right now is because they want only rich clubs from big countries. That's why Olympiacos or Panathinaikos is there, because they have money, not because they have so much fans or great history behind them. Look at Fenerbahce, they were nowhere near top level when they didn't have money, it's actually Ulkerspor Istanbul who had permanent licence, not Fenerbahce.
Clubs from Serbia have no bussiness to be in closed competition with rich clubs. Serbia is poor, unstable country with lots of problems, they are not in EU, they are basically only country in Europe which provide so much money for professional basketball clubs, they league is ridiculous so much they even don't have proper 3rd club, and even Croatia have proper 3rd club that is Split.
So, you can argue for open league in which Olimpija can play in EuroLeague and Partizan in EuroCup or you can accept closed league but don't cry when clubs from Serbia will not be welcomed there anymore. ;)

Which Serbian hurted you that bad?
For first i just thought you are jelous because Zvezda and Partizan in past seasons have higher budget then Zalgiris but this is obviosly deeper thing..
You only talking about us, you adore us.
Do you feel frustrated because we are not western puppys or?

You are just attention queen, i give u pleasure by replaying to your dumb posts (:

I am huge fan of basketball but Euroleague is an amateur organisation and joke of competition.

Montenegrin football champion has guaranteed 940 000 € from UEFA just because they will play 1st round of qualification.

Let's not pretend that we have some elite basketball competition in Europe.

And Serbia is a giant in baskteball, ofc we deserve to have at least one club in best european competition.

Ok but this is an unfair comparison. Euroleague is a joke, and could do much much better but comparing it to football is not a fair comparison.

OK but I think its even behind handball considering money and organisation.

A team like Galatasaray with more than 25 million fans is not allowed to play in EL, not on a regular basis anyway, But it's okay for asvel or alba to play EL. Is this a joke?

The fans doesn't change the fact that they'd fare worse than Alba & Asvel in the league with their recent approach.

Nothing against Galata but they were 5th this year? Fans are only part of it.

Nice move for Efes, it's now just a question what will happen with Clyburn. With him Efes is stucked on loser side forever

I am changing my opinion about Mijatovic a little bit after Smits and Poirier moves

Plus, Oturu was re-signed and Jones released.
Surprisingly logical moves, which only means something if Mr Clyburn is also gone.

Until now 5 good moves(or 4 in your case cos we don't agree about Larkin:))

I didn't know about Jones btw, which is 2nd best move imo, Any source?

If those rumours about Efes is true, Efes doing pretty good job so far and they will be F4 contenders next season.
Clyburn must be released, in that case i like Larkin re-sign.

I think they will need one glue guy too, they won't find Simon anymore but there are some players who could play decent such role

Someone like Kalinic?
I hope Efes dont thinking that way and rumours about Zvezda signed 2 years deal with Kalinic is true:D

So I just have listened the interview from this Croatian basketball journalist that is really closed to Hezonja. He was the 1st one that said he is going to Unics, I remember that really well when even SDNA didn't know anything. So he said in thursday that according to his informations Hezonja has agreement with Panathinaikos. Hopefully he isn't wrong for the 1st time!
