And what team is laughing stock for years of those teams I said? Because he is businessman and doesn't need to spend money that ain't his so he can win elections. Also, he builds new arena, how is he quitting?
Outside of those 6-8 teams, pretty much all you mentionned are either laughing stock (Asvel, Alba) or very mediocre (Bayern, Valencia, Zalgiris, Baskonia Virtus). Oh, yeah, Milan is pretty much a laughing stock. But not becasue they don't invest, mainly because they don't have an idea how to make a good team. So, my question is very precise, if they are led by billionaries, why don't they invest a little bit more and try to at least make the playoffs on more consistent basis? Or maybe for the first time ever for some of them.
The rumor is Valencia is not playing Euroleague next season. We will see what happens. Also, big question mark on Virtus. They may drop out too. Segafredo Zanetti is out. So, as you can see, you have confirmation of what I have been trying to tell you - outside of those few teams, no one is safe in Euroleague. There is always some kind of uncertainty. I guess they should look for State's funding too. LoL
