Everyone's pretty surprised. More surprisingly it is declared that president's son will stay, play.

Favourite sentence at the PC yesterday from his father: "Not just Filip is my son, all of my players are my sons." Reminds me at last words of Nicolae Causescu's wife :) Great stuff. At least we turned into a reality soap. :)
 
I couldn't help but laugh a Filip Covic's "defensive" efforts. Worse than Harden's. :D

Poor Zvezda..you'r so screwed with father and son.

Red Star has been a team which has won games based on defensive efforts since they lack the $$$ to sign quality offensive players, That defensive "chain" is broken when Covic plays. You can't afford weak links when you need to win games around the 65-70 mark. After all CZ has the 2nd worst offense in the EL.

Vs Zalgiris I couldn't help but cringe with his 1/7 attempts when he's a sh*t shooter among other things. He's the type of player that should only enter to make tactical fouls or to rest team mates when the game is won and there are 2 mins left.

waiting for the name of next mta pf , who will (hopefully) repleace acy, since i cant believe he will play in yellow till the end of the season

...and second best defense...despite the presense of meat ball...just imagine defensive potential of this team, if we could have real basketball player instead of daddy's midget boy
 
i dont think its true cause of his enormous salary,but i have heard some rumours aboutt tyreke evans for panathinaikos. the team is on the market for a g/f anyway to replace rion brown and cover fredette in a 3guard lineup or a 2 guard lineup with fredette as the pg.
as for the frontcourt they will give some time to bentil and see if papagiannis can play on a regular basis and not just one game out of 5. if not,then we will sign a big guy at january. amr johnson was proposed to the team by managers a couple of weeks ago,after pedoulakis left and pitino agreed with the team
 
Caloiaro could make his season debut this week against ASVEL

evans rumour was wrong, jonathon simmons is the one they were talking about. we will find soon anyway cause rion brown is not in the team's plans

Evans is still suspended in the NBA. Could a European club still sign him? I could swear there was some type of agreement where they would not.

I think they could sign him. Csska was inteested at summer. There is a different policy for antidrug tests. For example some cases banned in europe are allowed in the nba. On the other hand marijuana is immediate long term ban in the nba. In europe,gist was found guilty twice and the second time he was bannes for 3 months only

The glory of hypocrisy. So many pharmaceuticals which improve athletic performance are ok but the pot - which is just a recreational drug like tobacco or alcohol- is a reason for a ban. O tempora, o mores.
 
Zalgiris just signed a contract extension with Walkup for one more season.

I sincerely don’t understand how they could forbid marijuana when it will just make you feel relaxed and hungry :P
 
Not a very reliable source in Lithuania announced that Fenerbahce might do some changes in their roster, and Leo Westermann is one of the guys who might leave the team. Any Fener fans that heard something about it?

I haven't heard anything about that, but even the best Turkish reporters have a hard time getting solid rumors from basketball branch
