New season has just started. time for a new thread. Please share/discuss the RS signing and rumors here.

Guidelines to follow (by JPF):
1. keep it clean and polite
2. try to stay away from one lined posts (and "source?", "link?", etc)
3. use edit button, instead of posting 3 messages in 2 minutes
4. read at least some posts before posting your news
5. this thread isn't and never was for Euroleague and Eurocup rumours only, but try not to report every single transfer that happened - instead try to judge on which one could be interesting for others.

I don't know, he has talent but he has always been quite an uneven player. He has to exploit this chance, he won't be given a second one.

Sferopoulos confirms that the club is trying to release Caloiaro.
 
Sport5 published that while Sfairopoulos complemented Caloiaro, he says that there are too many players on his position and that he is worried there will not be enough minutes for him. Sfairopoulos said that if a good offer will come, Caloiaro will be released from the team.

Usually, Sport5 is not a reliable source when it comes to Maccabi news, but this time they quoted Sfairopoulos so this is probably real news.

im shocked about it! caloiaro ,our last season best player (with black) released is at the same time something absurd as also classical mta moviment. preferring american jumper acy to a perimetral pf like caloiaro, is dramatically classica mta way of moving on market. so disappointed by sfair, who is surely a "perimetral" coach. it means, as i always tought, he has no strong personality to really change philosophy.
again, i'm really shocked

What do you think, are you better or worse than last season?

It's all about Llull I think, and is he going to stay healthy or not.

Laprovittola × Pantzar and Prepelic= Nico is far better than Melwin, and a way better PG than Klemen.

Nakic × Yusta= Mario is more talented and he is a better scorer, but Santi had more experience.

Garuba × Kuzmic= Kuz had really bad luck with us, Usman is a beast, and Laso has faith on him.

Mickey × Ayón= Mickey is a better defender, and has more weapons to score, but Ayon's IQ was great.

I would say that we are slightly better than the last year, but how you said, the difference to win titles is made by Llull. A good Llull increases our chances to win the tournament.
