Monroe brings to the table many different options in offense, but god his defense is terrible. Maybe he won't be as bad with no defensive 3 seconds here, but still Bayern will have to compensate a lot for him in defense.
I mean, yes, he is terrible in some aspects of the NBA game, but I think he can dominate in EL if he has the right mind-set. he's 29 only. this is a great signing for Bayern.

Typical greek logic. I guess you fap with nikos zisis and all that mindful game every greek coach is talking about and every coach is teaching to small kids. That's why never produce good offensive players and when we face with the national teams Navarro, bogdanovic, doncic, opponent and all that kind of players good on the offensive end we get destroyed.

For the rest of the forum in greece the logic is that zisis is a great player and they prefer him instead of james and that kind of players. It's the reason they consider pedoulakis, sfairopoulos and other really bad coaches as great coaches instead. It's sad reading comments like the one I quoted or articles by fascist greek journalists like paparogiannis and others. You are lucky you can read greek cause you would freak out every time you would their articles

So the reason we don’t produce Navarro’s and Doncic’s is because people like me don’t like a player like James?

Do you ever get tired living on the extremes of life saras? In what world is the implication “I don’t like an average American player that can’t be placed in the same breath as Bogdanovic” => “I like Pedoulakis” true?

Haha..still sucking the same hard lolly.

Can't you see that all of Europe is laughing at your excuses and antics?

The laughing stock of European bball is undoubtedly dpg.
And subsequently, those who follow and support him.

DPG does and says what he thinks will benefit his team.

Your owners cut off your balls and tell us it's a "revolution". Revolution playing in A2. OK. Your fans are such sheep to believe it was part of a "revolution" when your players haven't been paid in months, were leaving one after the other and were looking at 40 point losses to PAO. So instead of throwing eggs at them, your throw them flowers for relegating the team to a lower division.

All the A1 teams were against all their motions for the league, telling Oly "They only care about themselves and not the good of the league." That's why in 2 different votes to change league rules you lost 13-1

Are you going to the airport to welcome Teodosic, Sloukas and Delaney? ;)

Anyway...In others news, Giannoulis Larentzakis has been released by AEK and the rumors have it he will also be signing with Panathinaikos. He would double up well in the guards with both Rice and Fridette since he's a good defender and tall for a guard at 1.96 playing both at pg and sg.

https://www.championsleague.basketball/18-19/player/Giannoulis-Larentzakis

Copying from a PAO forum.

"Larentzakis had a buy out clause for PAO- Oly for 300K. AEK owes him 80K wages which he has waived and the buy out has been reduced to 100K".

This year euroleague will be more exciting. There are much more transfer action in this summer than last year. Some of them has big risks but worth to try. Monroe and Fredette offers many thing at offence but many concern on defence. Anyway it will be exciting :)

I'm very excited, this is the best Euroleague for decades and it realoy reminds me f the great '90s when big names from the nba came to Europe! When there were big American names like Dominique Wilkins, Roy Tarpley, Rolando Blackman and top Euro players like Sabonis, Paspalje, Danilovic etc. It was unexpected but a high time players prefer to play in a competitive league than rust in nba and play in garbage time or make vacations in China, really hope to continue like that! I make a wild guess that Monroe will have a dominant season, we all know his flaws but his offensive game is very advanced and if he is in good shape he will be unstopable, then he joins Real next year and have historical duels with Mirotic! :D

Plsss stop the bs both of you, both the owners of your teams are protecting their interests, both act like clowns but truth is they do their best for their interests and teams, Pana has created a great roster this year, it will need time to adjust but it's impressive nonetheless and a big investement, on the other hand Oly after their last year's financial troubles they've formed a nice and competitive team, they kept their best player, Milu who had many offers and also I really can't explain how it comes there are people that depreciate so much the signings of Brandon Paul and Baldwin, of course nobody guarantees they will bu successful but they are very interesting cases both of them and their CVs are great.

Kevin Seraphin goes to China „Flying Tigers“

I wanted to see him continue in Europe, he is one of the most talented bigs to come to Euroleague last years but had many medical issues and I guess he is in a downfall now, so he chose an early retirement and vacations to CBA...

Jeremy Evans moves to Khimki. Great signing

Indeed! I hope to finalise the signing of Mozgov as well, they're gonna have a great roster! Also Mindozas may I ask you, I read that Zalgiris loanded Velicka and Uleckas to other LKL clubs, so Velicka is owned by Zalgiris now?? That's interesting, both of them after last u20 championship look like that after a year's loan will probably be ready for next level!

Yes, Velicka signed a long term contract last year after he returned from Barcelona, I don't know about Uleckas though, but he also probably has a couple year's contract with Zalgiris. They both are interesting prospects, I hope they can successfully integrate into main Zalgiris' roster later on.

I believe their CVs are nothing but great. Brandon Paul is a journeyman whose best aspect is volume scoring when he has the opportunity, but I doubt he will be as free in Oly as he had been before. I didn't watch Baldwin to be honest, but he basically didn't play any meaningful minutes in NBA for the last 2 years. At least he's young though, so maybe he can adapt to Europe, but then he'd probably try to go back asap? To me these two signings show the financial problem in Oly.

I thought we were talking about Euroleague here

And by the way, you seem to care more about which Greek league we are going to be part of, than us it seems :D

No matter how hard you try, nothing will ever surpass dpg, his antics, his Euroleague-mafia followers, and the attacks personally ( and through his ridiculous newspaper ) to the Euroleague authorities ( mainly Bertomeu and Rigas ) as well as the Turkish fans and people in general.

This is so true. It's good to prioritise team basketball, but sometimes it feels like people just don't like guys that can score. Keith Langford has always been undervalued on here.

Mike James is about to be free and top budget team in Europe is in desperate need of a high-caliber guard. I can already see him in red.

Some guys said that Milano is offering him+his 1.6MER to Maccabi, to avoid his B-O
