I guess having your team buy its way into -some, very limited- success leave you with little time to learn about basketball. Such a shame really.

where was spanoulis it mattered the most? nowhere to be found. actually I watch rather than looking at stats. span sucks for 2 years straight.

we are not talking about rodriguez. we are talking about teodosic and span. two LEGENDARY players. one of whom SUCKED ASS compared to his OLD SELF due to old age.

just accept it. what's wrong with you oly fans anyway? he sucked. period.

I didnt want him to stay for second season..Too weak to be 5 and mediocre shooter with street basketball moves to be 4..If Blatt believed in him i guess he would have kept him at Oly..But saras is another story..he proved he can develop any player in his hands..

I agree with you..spanoulis is not the same last 2 years..speed, explosion and stamina are 2 levels down

Žalgiris had the opportunity to land Nedovič, but Šaras didn't want him on the team. Interesting. Officially, our roster is done, but according to rumors, we are still searching for PG/SG combo player and if there will be something interesting, we will go after it. Well, we definitely need one more back court player. If we are after something, here's how roster should look:
PG ?(20-25min), Lekavičius(20min), Perez(15-20min)
SG Grigonis(25min), Walkup(15min)
SF Ulanovas(25min), Milaknis(10min)
PF LeDay(20min), Hayes(15min)
C Landale(20min), Jankūnas(15min), Geben(5min)

Ulanovas will play as PF for a bit, Grigonis or Walkup will play as SF for a bit, and any PG will be a SG at that moment, when small ball tactics starts. How the roster is looking for you, friends?
 
DWill seems a sure thing, it's a really nice move. In offense we have many options, defense seems a bit shaky, especially on the perimeter. Maybe we will have a rim protector if we have money left after the NBA buyouts etc.

Well, depends on the newcomer, but on perimeter, we will be pretty good, something similar what we had on last years. Westermann was a weak spot on D, Kavaliauskas also, Wolters wasn't even a decent defender. Lekavicius is small, but very nerve wracking to other defenders because of his quickness, pushing every second. Perez is exactly the same, just bigger, 191cm if I am not mistaken. Grigonis, Walkup and Ulanovas - one of the best their spot defenders in EL, Milaknis should have a smaller role, less minutes with him, less risk on D. With LeDay I don't know, but he have the tools to be a decent D player. Hayes should be better at 1on1 D than White, and he is quick enough to switch. Landale is quite weak for 1on1 D against bigger opponents, but on switch he's something similar to Davies on first year. Also, Šaras sees Jankūnas more as a C in this season, my sources tell.

Last 5 years olympiakos has also finished 15th out of 16 in 2016 and out of playoffs this season. Aek has more titles during the last 5 years. Its really funny how bad situation at olympiakos is,they will not even compete in professional leagues if they dont sign up in greek second division if they dont sign up until tomorrow. But noone in greece feels any pity for them,they really deserve everything they go through this summer. After all their presidents are the ones talking about going till the end.

Will cherry is a player bath asked to stay next season. Thats something olympiakos reporters said,not me

it is, indeed. The year of superteams, among which Fener is the most serious so far.

now, let me poke you a little: Fener fans brag about having a good memory and never forgetting. Now, how will they greet Williams?
 
milutinov asked to be paid immediately from olympiakos all the money he has not been paid (rumours during the season that there were playerd unpaid for the last 6-7 months) otherwise he will appeal and get released from the team. The player will not play for olympiakos the next season anyway,i can see him going to csska for a total fee of 500K - 1m and olympiakos replacing him with a veteran like parakhuski

Parakhouski? Wow. Im sure Oly will be one of the better teams in A2.

This year is quite funny in this aspect. We were angry at De Colo after his antics in that final, booed Westermann after Bogdan was injured (it wasn't intentional), and chanted fuck you at Williams after he provoked the fans here. Now, I wonder if Nocioni will come here too. :D I think it's not a big deal for neither the fans nor the players... Players wouldn't care, if anything, I'd prefer passionate/borderline hooligan fans over CSKA fans any day... And fans are obviously happy to get good players, what happened in previous games have stayed in the past. Remembering is OK, but dwelling on the past brings no good.

By the way Carchia (Sportando) says Williams deal is 1 year, 1.5 m$ net.
