Regarding Russia - I would suspect Joan Plaza, former coach of Kuzminskas, would love to get him in Saint Petersburg. If they had 8M for buying a place in Euroleague, I guess they can afford Mindaugas' contract

the problem is, they stop working after first contract and think that they are the kings... and this is not only for bball.
 
Westermann transfers looks like a done deal right now. If we add someone defence first, that transfer make sense.
 
Reading this thread, I have concluded that Westermann's defense is either terrible or good, and he's either a shit player or a great contributor. :D

Okay, Westermann is a good player for any team but... he is not the player that fener needs, thats why i consider him as a bad move and believe me i watched lots of zalgris matches cuz of my wife(she is lithuanian). He is so slow in the defence so he is bad in perimeter defence. I'm not saying he is bad defender but so slow. Fener needed a good defender, a defensive anchor for backcourt but lets see. I need to say that offensively Sloukas-Leo-Nando-Bobby is one of the best in europe but defensively not even top10.

There are very few european SG: Stauskas, Dorsey, Korkmaz or Luwawu.

Yes, double passport, canadian and lithuanian.

The last american with lithuanian roots we signed, worked really well for us. And now he works in the Euroleague.
 
On my opinion,very little chance for Simanovic s transfer to Fenerbahce,simply he yet didnt even nearly level of Feenrbahce.Westerman could be good secondary pg ,he is inteligent ,he had problems with injury,carreer goes up and down .So in Fenerbahce he could find a calm harbor .

As far as I know Stauskas does not hold Lithuanian citizenship. In fact it's very hard to get dual citizenship in Lithuania due to nationality law providing dual citizenship only in special cases.

He earned more than 2.5 M in CSKA. But I think that he wants to come back to Spain (Valencia and Málaga are interested).

MrRager, I have heard that Stauskas has the passport (3 grandparents from Lithuania). But if not, he can demand the double citizenship according the rules (left Lithuania prior March 1990).
