After paying taxes it's less then 2 milions € per season. We should bring him three years ago when he played in Turkey but we brought Nunnally that season.
He deserves that money imo

Euroleague is much more important than local leagues and euroleague have already very busy fixture. Only for euroleague is not luxary at that moment. So I dont understand overpaying players for their passport. Yes Omri has Israel passport but on the court it has no meaning. why did turkish teams pay millions to players like semih erden then? how much does guler or mahmutoglu earn to spend almost the whole season at bench in euroleague?
greece has a rule that you cant have more than 6 foreigners(americans or not) in your roster and you can only make 3 changes during whole season. its not like turkey for example where you can have as many as you want and choose 6 of them each game. plus of course that locals will spend more years in the team,unlike americans or others. for example panathinaikos had calathes and james at the same time in the team. calathes resigned a 3 years contract while james signed for 1 year the first time he came cause he wanted to check his nba status next summer and resigned only for some months coming cause he wanted to get more money next summer. unlike papanikolaou who came back from the nba and signed a multi year contract with olympiakos.

Turkey has 5 players registered on game list and a team can sign max 10 foreign players per season.

I am not sure, but probably Turkish teams are allowed to sign 10 foreigner.
And rule is a bit different than you think. any 5 of 10 can play in national league.
When we paid millions to Semih Erden, Emir Preldzic, Oguz Savas (4-5 years ago), rule was different. Teams were not allowed to play with 5 foreigners, min 2 local should have played in 5.
 
any chance wth new mta philosophy under sfair (hoping kane and pargo will be fired because they would ruin all plans) that we finally would give landesberg all chances he deserved in past, adding him as a key player of the team? despite he coohse aurtian passport i guess heeven still have il passaport

didnt know there was a max number of foreigners but still you can choose any 5 of them. for example someone is injured for months,you can switch to another. in greece you would have to replace him and lose of the 3 changes you are allowed to do. if you want to bring the injured player back in place of another that would cost another change.

The lithuanian guy you mention is a clown like all twitter wannabe "insiders". Panathinaikos has already agreed with wiley,so all these tweeners have nothing to do with panathinaikos. Panathinaikos will probably sign one more center. Team is not interested in gabriel,hunter,ndour or bentil

We dont pay Erden or Savas type garbages anymore. It was our mistake paying million for under average domestic players. Now Mahmutoglu's salary is around 500k. He turned to role player and this salary is not too much.
 
If I understand good Vatutin said that Nando and Chacho will leave team.

Without them and Higgins they will have really hard job to be champions again. Also if Nando go to Real they are huge favorite.

He didn't say the names, just that some players will leave for different reasons, but both Nando and Chacho has been rumored for some time as the ones who'll leave too

One distinction: Erden and Savas was not garbage. they were actually pretty good. They in time turned into garbage because they didn't have to work hard, the (huge sums of) money was coming regardless. that is the issue with foreign player quotas, local talent lose motivation to improve beyond a threshold.
