I really can't understand hype about Kuzminskas. He is average player imo, can be useful for every team in Euroleague but he is not super star. He can't change season for teams like Maccabi, Milano, Barca...

Me neither. It's a bit baffling.

panathinaikos interested in peyton siva. done deal with jacob wiley (gran canaria) and will be activated if pitino stays, which is the most possible to happen right now. rumours about roll were probably fake. we are not interested in wenyen gabriel.

Peyton Siva for Lekavicius would be a good replacement for different reasons but I dont see the benefits with Jacob Wiley.

You sure Siva wants to be in Calathes shade?

Mickey is great. But Khimki in EL, so they won't let him go

he has no contract. it expires at the end of the month. his agent proposed the player to other euroleague teams, which means he might be frustated with something over there. maybe the weather? athens is a paradise place for every player. especially americans. only a few cold days during the winter, clubs, women etc. i dont think it has a lot of possibilities cause he might be too expensive for us,but i dont see him in khimki next season

The weather in Tel Aviv is the best! ;)

Euroleague is much more important than local leagues and euroleague have already very busy fixture. Only for euroleague is not luxary at that moment. So I dont understand overpaying players for their passport. Yes Omri has Israel passport but on the court it has no meaning. Greek fans do the same, "he is gettind overpaid because he is greek excuse" . Why do you care domestic league that much. Most of them has low standarts.

in theory, having passport has more meaning than being elibigle for domestic leagues. A Greek/Israeli/Turkish player etc is expected to feel a stronger bond to their teams from the same nation, create a better team chemistry, where everyone fights tooth and nails and they collectively overachieve. See Oly's title-winning teams, or Partizan, or PAO of good years.

This, in practice, however has not always worked due to many reasons, one of which is overpaying domestic talent. imho.

In the Israeli league you must that at least 2 players with israeli passport will be on the court every time + only 6 foreigners can play in a game, so if you have 8 foreigners in the team, 2 of them can't play in each game (the coach can change The choice of the foreigners in each game).
for example, one game Black and Pargo out, and one game Kane and Roll out .

next season it will change - you must have at least 1 israeli on the court (instead of 2), but only 5 foreigners can play in a game .
so if maccabi will have 8 foreigners next season, 3 of them can't play in each game .

If that stronger bond will only come with overpaying then I dont want to stronger bond. Oly and Pao has success due to quality star players. When these players past their primes, stronger bond could not save them. Also especially Printezis forfeit some financial profits for his team he is not getting overpaid. If a players earns high salary only because he is Greek Israel or Turk then this is bad move for the team. Passport doesnt make a player better

Meeting between Olimpia Milan ownership and Ettore Messina. Soon he will answer to Milan offer. Let’s hope, it will be an amazing upgrade after Pianigiani

Why do you think it went so badly for Pianigiani this season? It looked like Sassari matched up well with Milano in terms of personnel but still, to get swept when he had such an advantage in budget?

What is situation with TJ Bray? Sportando was announcing that Bray is a done deal with Bayern, is it true?
