What's that "talent wise"? So far Serbia couldn't even stand close to the knock out stage Spain and that's a fact. When Serbia will knock out Spain of the tournament, we'll speak. As of now Spain a better team. How it's "definitely"? The last time they met in the knock out stage Spain trashed them by 30 points. When Lithuania met Spain last 2 times (as we talk about Lithuania which beat Serbia in 2015 as well), they also trashed us. Somehow no-one thinks Lithuania is even close Spain, while Serbia is somehow definetely up to Spain's level :) I mean stop that overrating Serbia bandwagon, Terrorizer is absolutely right. When Serbia will take over Spain, I will take the hat off and knee. So far Spain is the king.

Regardless of how you slice it and compare game results in individual match-ups, Serbia ended up with the Silver at both the 2016 Olympics and the 2014 World Championships. And that's the bottom line.

What's Teodosic's problem with the Serbian Basketball Federation?

do you speak english at all? he said that Serbian basketball federation helped Teodosic with his decision not to play, they said its okay they collaborated their stories, basketball federation said he was hurt, he said he is hurt, clippers said he is hurt, thats it no drama no blaming, you gotta respect players, they cant play every summer, especially now with new FIBA system, eurobasket isnt worth shieet

I wonder how the Americans would react if an American player like Lebron would have done that. Frankly, I don't think any of those players would play for the NT ever again. The Greek Federation should decide to act as if he was the worst player on the team.

Kevin Durant quit the 2014 World Cup team right after the first intrasquad scrimage just weeks before the tournament was to begin. No injury whatsoever only explanation given was mental fatigue. Real reason was he was on the court when Paul George snapped his leg like a twig. He saw it and was shook. Still played leading role two years later on Olympic team. When he withdrew in '14 with Spain fielding a full team on their home court many considered them the favorite. So it was a big deal.

You should swallow feelings of betrayal or whatever and don't be so shortsighted. If he pulls something like this again then fine. But right now there is potentially a great future there so I wouldn't write him off that quick.

Yes, I admit I misinterpreted his words. It's not the first time I've gotten things wrong, nor will it be the last.

:(

So now will you accept a simple "Fuck you, asshole" by way of apology?

Well, given his talent I think that the Greek Federation will swallow it.

Also, Giannis said he was extremely disappointed for not being able to participate. There is some dissatisfaction there from his side towards the Bucks management. This could be an excuse for him to go to another team and win a championship. The next team will certainly respect his wishes. It's a win win and he should seriously consider that.

Other teams are no different. Look at Clippers and GSW, they don't want Teo and Pachulia to play as well.

To be honest, I am already surprised that why Anteto is still playing with the Greek national team after his great NBA debut. He is a black Nigerian player who get to the Greece as a refugee. He didn't even get the Greece citizenship until he showed his skills as a potentially promised player in the Greek league, only then he gets the Greek citizenship, and then he goes to NBA with big hopes and becomes one of the best young players in the league. It's not surprising that he would have not choose to play in the Greek national team after he reached a high place in the NBA. Even Turkish players like Omer Asik and Ersan (they didn't come from africa as a refugee) don't want to play in the national team because it's tiring and it's risky for the injuries that can stop them from playing in the NBA. I still blame Omer and Ersan since they are essentially Turks and they were never refugees in Turkey and they should play in the Turkish national team no matter what, but for a black player like Anteto who was once a refugee in the same country, I can't blame him for not playing for the Greece national team, he can be a top player in the NBA with the right coaching and with the right team, and the playing in the national teams are tiring and risky.
you are not only clueless but also fucking ungrateful. You blame Omer and Ersan after so many summers with NT, and on the other hand you had blamed Udoh with betrayal after he's given his heart and soul for your team.

You're the one fucking clueless mr.efes pilsen fan, not me. How did you manage to compare Udoh's situation with Omer and Ersan ?

Udoh gave his heart and soul ? :D :D I didn't know Udoh was playing because he was a Fenerbahce fan, I think he was playing for 2.6 million $ per year by being the most expansive player in the team alongside with Vesely. ;) Not only he improved his game thanks to Fenerbahce, he choosed to play in the NBA for a lesser amount of money, he simply used Fenerbahce as a bounce board. Every respectable basketball commentator (such as Kaan Kural) said that Udoh has a little chance to be successful in the NBA, because of his basketball style, unlike Vesely whose style is more suitable for the NBA. Udoh has a little chance for being successful at this point and he choosed to be a small time role player in the NBA over being Fenerbahce's symbol despite against all the fan support and more money. You think Vesely couldn't return to NBA with a lesser amount of money ? He could do the same thing, but he didn't, he loves Fener more than Udoh loves Fener.

As for Ersan, even Ergin Ataman tweeted about his ''ungratefulness'' to the NT. And you're bullshitting once again.

Ergin Ataman (former Turkey NT coach) : ''Ersan is doing the same thing in every year, he is being ungrateful to the country who raised him and helped him to be an NBA player.''

I am starting to think that he is a very elementary level of artificial intelligence, developed somewhere in Southeastern Anatolia. Basically any time a complex task is required, he spits out garbage :D

Butthurted posters making an alliance against me. How nice.

1- MR. Efes Pilsen hooligan who hates Fener fans.
2- Anti-Turk racist serbian.
3- NBA troll who thinks Lebron is better than even MJ.

@Levenspiel
You just failed to answer the former Turkey NT coach's claim, I believe that proves who is the real dumb and the real idiot here. But let's not forget that your true butthurt comes from this topic : http://www.interbasket.net/forums/s...Aviv-2017-18&p=1153880&viewfull=1#post1153880 which shows how biased you really are against the Fener fans. We are still waiting for you to fix your own mistake.

Quoting the troll Ataman on this matter is like quoting your beloved Irving on flat earth bs. You can always find quotes on the web.

Look, everyone is entitled to their opinion. In your case, however, you've been overly disruptive. This is a farewell message.

even if he publicly begged in front of adam silver's door, he couldnt get to the NBA, guy had 4 years to prove himself in the NBA, he averaged 3 POINTS per game and 3 REBOUNDS, lol the guy had 25% from FT line in his last season in washington xD, cant shoot for shit, can only be dominant (not even that dominant) in euroleague, and only because every half decent center from euroleague leaves for NBA

Cut it and leave it alone ;)

IMO It should never been an obligation for any player to donate his liver for the club or the nt team or stay forever or play for the NT without any will. It's very annoying that some players are being accused for betrayal even they give their 100 percent on the field. Moreover, Especially in Turkey, you may play like a rockstar for 10 years straight and hear people cursing you and asking you to leave if you perform bad for only a short period. As a country, Most people are missing the true nature of the sports. This is an entertainment. Not a life or death matter and there is also defeat as much as there is victory. Honestly, i think most people don't even like any sports, they just like to win. As everyone knows, Fenerbahce didn't have a great start last year, and i have been continuously seeing people cursing our players using profanity. The same people and the same mindset was in the first line to applaud and cheer when Fener has lifted the trophy...
