Israel about to fuck a long term accumulator of mine with that choke today. Hoping they beat Germany in 2 days

I suppose they will be also suspended from the upcoming tournament, any thoughts who is going to replace them ? Latvia perhaps.

He did his job well and a time comes that your body cant handle the pressure. He cant defend a shit anymore, I mean he was bad but now he cant really defend anyone. Makes France in any case less creative but France is the last country that cant compensate such a loss

Totally different opinion.

First of all experience, clutch attitude, locker room guidance. Those things win tournaments.
Generally they have some go-to guys and are a well balanced team but Heurtel played one good tournament for them (2014) and I am not sure whether other guards are up to the task as Fournier in national team usually plays worse than in clubs.

For France I have the feeling that they are overrated same like Lithuania and Greece being (heavily) underrated btw.

Will be interesting to see France. Strong team by names. Curious how this will look like.

I havent watched guys like Hayes for very long but he isnt developing as expected. Nevertheless for European tournaments you need different aspects of your game so its difficult to measure his value in Europe

Greece has a solid time slot and a schedule. It has one of the best backcourts and a top 5 player in the world and multiple experienced role player in Euroleague. This will probably the last time of its medal shot. We will see how Itoudis come up with a plan adapting Giannis to the Greek system. The last time it didnt work very well.

In case of Lithuania i am not that optimistic. I dont see the backcourt that could win anything

France has reserves, but they lost one of two best guards. That will be felt offensively. Main reserves (besides Huertel) comes probably in Ekobo and Ntilikina in the first place. Only then Hayes and Maledon (if any of them will make it). France will remain stacked, but when the game is on a line you want to have that De Colo and Fournier duet. France will be a little more vulnerable without him.

Turkey is not a top 8 team even with our full roster as long as Ene is the coach. If we bring back Ataman before the tournament, I'd put us as a contender.

I am also not very happy with Ene but roster wise I would say this team is in the top 8. Though its still difficult to measure the strength since the team is very young.

I also think Turkey is borderline top-8 team, however I consider Italy and Croatia to be above them with a full roster. France, Serbia, Lithuania, Greece, Slovenia and Spain are also a level above them.

France is not underrated. It's NBA players can perform well under FIBA rules. While Giannis for example tends to loose a notch compared to the NBA. At least with the previous coaching staff. He will definitely be better under Itoudis. But I believe that Greece without Itoudis could be a medal contender even without Giannis. Perhaps not this tournament. I think Itoudis needs more time.

Somewhat agree but I’d take out Croatia and Greece and replace it with the Czech.

I didn't say that France is underrated, I said that in my perception that they are overrated.

Nevermind Greece could still beat Turkey in every possible scenario, with them either being more talented or not ;)

What are you trying to say lol. I mean in Canada many of Turkeys players literally debuted and played together for the first time ever. If you’re basing your entire hopes on that one match you will be mistaken. Why don’t you take your match against Brazil as an example instead then.
