It might for sure, but we will never know. You're seriously downplaying that game 1 was a buzzer beater, it could ended either way, and game 2 without Tavares, meaning Real basically without front court. But in game 5 Partizan had huge advantage, both Yabusele and Deck being out and couldn't capitalised on 18 points lead. Partizan showed dominance you're implying only in game 2, where Real was without front court.

Oh please, Real was in knockdown. They were done.

Real lost both games in Madrid. I don't know if that ever happened to them. It speaks to how well Partizan played those games, with or without buzzer beater. Momentum would have stayed with Partizan if suspensions and injuries didn't happen.

You know that Tavares has problem with his knee too?

Exum's game was heavily hit not only by his injury, but with zone D, which he doesn't exactly like to play against.

Exum's game was heavily hit by that slamming from behind rather than anything else in the first place. Punter not playing in Belgrade had something to do with that zone defense because it was easier to focus on cutting Exum's penetration game.

And why Punter didn't play? Yes Llull's foul was hard, something to get unsportsmanlike for. But I doubt very much he knew what will happened next, Punter wasn't exactly innocent in everything that happened next.

Possession earlier I think Poirier also made dirty out of frustration foul on Punter in garbage time. I'm not justifying Punter but I can understand his reaction. The worst move was by Lessort with unnecessary slamming of Musa, that might have decided the series because the first game in Belgrade ended in the last possession.

We are not talking about that but how both teams adjusted after that incident, and as I wrote as soon as it happened that it could be blessing in disguise for Real, and they used it perfectly.

About the last consideration I was thinking exactly the same thing, El Chacho was considered by Armani Milano an old-age pensioner to be released immediately.

It is unbelievable that he was the protagonist against Partizan. I am not certain at all that Obradovic shouldn't be criticized. He had an excellent young and expensive roster at his disposal this year.
Yeah, me three. when Rodriguez started to feel it, at home, pumped up, at his own pace, I'm sure there was something to do against it. Partizan seemed stunned and he just torched them over and over.

Obradovic said at the HT interview "We are up by 16, but we should not forget there is a lot of character in that team." I guess they forgot.

Exum said that Yabusele didn't try to reach to him and apologize for what he did. That statement is a joke, it's for Real and public, not for Exum.

Yes I have seen Exum now crying out loud. I have to say that Obra and Punter behave much more like man should after difficult defeat. Respect.

What exactly? Exum was benched with 4 fouls, Avramović didn't play due to injury and Madar is just a poor defender. Who was supposed to guard him? He got to the paint easily because Lessort was afraid of the contact with 4 fouls. And it's not like Rodriguez forgot to play basketball, even at 37 he was still the best playmaking guard in this series.

What I think could have been done better is attack Tavares with 4 fouls. Only Smailagić attcaked him in the closeout and finished with an easy dunk with Tavares not trying to get into contact because of foul trouble. Unfortunately, Smailagić fouled out in the next possession. Avramović could have helped here a lot if he was healthy. Maybe Obradović should have instructed Exum to attack Tavares but it's a question how much confidence Exum had after that injury.

In all my years watching EuroLeague I don’t recall so much ill feeling. Three of the four playoff series have resulted in noticeable complaints on social media either about the officiating or how disciplinary decisions somehow favoured the team seen as the instigator. We also had further controversy and and a sense of injustice (perceived or otherwise) due to issues before and during the Euro Cup final.

I’ve no idea if this feeling of discontent is also being felt by the clubs, but if it is might we see another Supro League in our lifetime?

This is true, Maccabi also complains a lot.

.
something like what Lull did in the 2nd game maybe? :p
joking aside, the Rodriguez I remember recently could be slowed down by physical contact. yeah, quite limited options there, but I guess you had to try. He was getting into his spots and shooting quite comfortably.
