Sure it helps, but you can't play 1/1, iso offense. Where was pick&roll, where was inside game...?

Monaco doesn't have inside game. They are made for ISO ball and they have been playing like that all season. Especially when they need to score. Their whole perimeter is ISO oriented. Aside from few post ups for Motiejunas or lob passes to Hall, they don't have any inside game.

Yes but I wouldn't emphasize only that. It could seem that the main problem is Monaco's attack, in fact what I see is that they stopped defending.

Oly 4/12 2pts in the first half, they started with 13/15 in the second one! Assists 10-1 (!!) in the third quarter.

You can't be serious. :D:D:D

Generally he's not a flashy player but there's not many who have consistently made their teams better like he has. Look at the coaches he's worked with and the trophies he has won. No-one can doubt his leadership after this season.

15-25 are regular points for Euroleague team! If you score 2 points 1/4 than game is lost in every pro level.

Oly started to play as much as possible inside in second half. Smart coach would take time out after 1 minute and change his D. We all know that Obradovic is not smart.

Right. Numerous backdoor cuts by Papanikolaou and Vezenkov, too easy like they haven't done scouting.

As expected Monaco is trash. Not exactly final 4 material.

He was 30 years old when he finally turned to leading player. I wouldnt count him as an all time guard but he is the last good Greek guard for sure considering how Lountzis has played. :D

Do you know which guards played in Euroleague in last 20 years? ;) He's for sure not top 10 and probably not even top 20.

Monaco scored like 15 points in second half. They would have lost this no matter what. Fall killed any inside game they could possibly have and thier ISO scorers got suffocated. Bad defense only added to this.

Depends on how you count. If you count guys like Doncic who only played 2-3 seasons with average impact you might be right but the right way would be counting guys who played almost their entire career in the EL. It only counts what you deliver.

Exactly. Oly finished with 14/17 2pts in the second half, assists 14-2 (!). This was the key I believe and it means only one thing, Monaco collapsed physically, not only mentally.

It is true that the referees changed brutally their way of judgement in the second half not punishing some very dubious contacts, but Monaco should have adjusted to it like Oly.

I've been defending Teodosic from his detractors on Interbasket long enough for you to know the answer to this. :D

It's not only Teo, he's not near the top even, if you look only Greeks. ;)

Its clear that you cant win anything with Mike James. He brings you to a certain point and drags you down after that point.

Man, I would put even Calathes in front of him. ;) And then you have Papaloukas, Spanoulis, Diamantidis. Like I said, he's not even near the top among the Greeks. I would put him somewhere near Zizis.

Not sure about Calathes. He offers much but if you compare their successes its Sloukas. Papaloukas, Spanoulis and Diamantidis are clearly better. There are dimensions between them but yeah you will find easily 10 guys better than him.

About sloukas ok, he is great, but what I saw today especially in the third quarter was a fantastic Walkup performance. He caused so much pain to Monaco, offensively and defensively.
