Campazzo is perfect example of this new Euroleague. Too small for Nba, can't shoot and he can be easily one of the top players in Euroleague. Standards are pretty low nowadays.

Spanoulis didn't manage to have a career to the NBA either, when he attempted it. He was top player in Euroleague because the standards are low?

You should look at rosters in his times and now. ;)

It's true that 10 years later Real has still their 3 stars in the final, problem is that they have 110 years now. :D

Theoretically, most equalized teams in final since 2016 Cska- Fenerbahce, On IBN i 've changed twice prediction of this game. Somehow, whole story of Real Madrid it is like they look like more like champion team.

Olympiacos has looking better this season, but it's more flat line, such teams in most cases don't win competition.

Tactically, Real has anti-dote for Olympiacos, closing paint to Vezenkov and Fall, zone to use not so good shooting of Olympiacos. On the other hand, it much depends how Real will look like team. From this point of the view, they were not good until now, some players have taking one or two shoots more then it should be. Connection between players is not so good. So, this can be reason of winning or losing final, for Olympiacos it will decide how they can adapt to play something else when Real's defence has response on their qualities.

I hope Oly wins. Not that I like anything red, but Real does not deserve the title.

yeah, similarly, I cannot shake my bitterness at Real for the dirty move in 2nd game vs Partizan. What's worse, if they win, is that some future self-help guru or a commercially-biased EL historian will take Llull's move as a great example of leadership or winning mentality, or whatever, when it all looked like it was over. Hope they go home empty-handed.

PS. Regardless of that, I think Oly is the better team, has a better coach, and should win this one.

Of course Real will win. Remember the -30 defeat in Oaka couple years ago. This is a story coming back from a 0:2 defeat and lets be honest. Oly is a good team but the team consists of a bunch of role player + Sloukas and Vezenkov. I dont have the slightest doubt about the outcome.

BTW, listening to basketnews guys and reading here, I sense a blind homerism towards Saras, blaming the players. Sure, he's a legend, but he's been an utter failure at Barca, no two ways about it. it's not the players. it's the unimaginative way their talents were crippled by the strict style of play.

My friend Toruko, I always take on mind your opinion.......but with this one you killing me........Let's hope you are wrong.:D;)

I think Olympiacos won't lose today.

I wish you luck, I really do but this is my honest opinion. I would lie if I denied it.

And Real has Tavares and….who else?
couple of old guys,Hezonia with the bright mind or Musa.
Common see the whole picture,Oly is in every aspect the better team this year, that of course doesn’t guarantee he will win today

Real has a good team and good players and I didn’t want to show disrespect, but rosterwise there is no big difference in the quality.Chacho is a great player but has grown up,Lull the same and Musa has the future in fromt of him,Let’s see what will happen

I dont remember Jasikevicius being so calm and no emotions in last 20 years in both semifinal and 3rd place game

Something bad happend inside the team.

They have been failing to win for 3 years with one of the highest budgets. He is history, this happened.

I still understand how that explain most emotional european basketball person showing zero emotions and being not himself

Saras win or lose always showed more emotions than average person in last 20 years

His body language is like he doesnt care at all

Point is different, coach, who plays final tomorrow, had the need to express concern about European basketball struggling. It looks to me that problem is really big.

And no, it's not the same problem in football, Europe has with Mbappe and Haaland fantastic young players. Problem is only in basketball because we're developing young players for Nba. For example, Slovenian Jan Vide scored 27 points for Real against Barca in ANGT tournament yesterday. There are only 2 options, he will be good enough for Nba with 20 years or he won't ever be anything special. No chance that he plays in Europe, if his development goes like many expect. That's why you have players like Madar getting rising star award. This award is a joke nowadays, really talented 22 years old players should be in contention for MVP.

Football, while more popular than ever, has huge problems with talent production. A majority of the so called top players now are athletes rather than footballers. Defending is also a lost art. I don't think anyone can seriously say the leading European teams are better now than ten years ago. Look at this year's Champions League semi finalists as evidence of this.

Haaland has break al time record in Premier league this year.

The context is he's playing for the most financially doped team in Premier League history against historically bad defences. A few months ago there was a serious debate about whether City were even better without him.

End what was his move? :D It wasn't even clear unsportsmanlike foul. You see that in many games. Yes, it escalated into something more serious, but nobody forced Punter and Lessort to throw the punch.
