Haha, yeah I heard that also. So many theories. My friends told me so many stupid things also but Nunn confirmed via IG it's all lie so idk. I mean, his eye on tonight's practice actually looks swollen a little bit from some different angles.

Grigonis can be 4th or 5th guard even though he played good, really good if you don't count end of the season last year and I am looking forward to see him back. Sloukas and Lorenzo are the biggest disappointments for me. And personally, I think they are the biggest reason for this not really good start. Even though we are 7-5 which is not bad I think we had to be 9-3 at least. Sloukas is so bad. I can't understand fans who are defending him daily. He earns so much but we are horrible with him, especially in the defense. The slowest we play is with him. He breathes heavily after 3 minutes. I think Ataman's system in PAO is not the best fit for Lorenzo. He needs fast pace system like he had with Perasovic and Kattash. 5 on 5 and then waiting for the mismatch is not something for him especially because he was never a good shooter for the 3 point. But I kinda trust him. I think Ataman will change some things during the season. For Sloukas idk...

Honestly I am disappointed will all 3 transfers. I know it's still early but Ataman will short the rotation in the 2nd half of the season 100%. Lorenzo for now is really bad. Osman...idk, I think he deserves to play more and it really looks he genuinely cares and tries a lot but obviously there is some reason Ataman doesn't give him more minutes. With Papapetrou and Grigonis out of the roster I expect this is the week Osman can fortify his position at SF. Yurtseven...he is good in the offense but my God sometimes he does the stupidest mistakes ever and in defense he is really not good.

The thing that makes me very optimistic is that we are 7-5, we have 3 games at home against Barca, Baskonia and Milano. 2 road games against Partizan and Efes. I think realistically we should get at least 3 wins. So that will be 10-11 wins after the first half of the season. And whole squad except Nunn, Lessort, Grant and Juancho is so underperforming so that's crazy good score. Mitoglou looks like someone took every piece of his talent.

So you agree that Nunn is not the guy who can make solid decisions/ hm. Interesting:)
Printezis from enemy club considers him as the greatest talent ever came in Greece, which is probably true.
 
I don't believe the gossip. Papapetrou is mediocre player but has never acted up like this so it would be weird. On top of that he is in the captain squad. I think the scenario that says that he was caught being a bit too nonchalant about some baskets that were made against us (maybe coupled with complaints about playing time) is the more realistic one. Obviously I don't have any inside info that's just my gut feeling.

In terms of Nunn faking being sick I think of this: when a player of this caliber goes to the hospital, he doesn't do it like us "normal people". We would go to the hospital if there was something very wrong. A player might need immediate attention even if he feels slightly sick because they need to pump him with hydrating IVs in order for him to recuperate much faster. I could be wrong on this. Now, whether he was out partying and then got sick...I don't know, that's also a possibility? Haven't you guys ever been out and then wake up feeling like shit the next morning?
 
I just hope that we will stay in the game long enough to make Partizan players nervous. It seems that they don't know how to win close games, and our players could use that in our advantage. We must grab one win in this week, let's win against Partizan away! :)

someone said Mijatovic seems to learn from his mistakes, but then he makes brand new ones every week.
 
Kendrick Nunn is one class above every other player in the Euroleague.
Without him Pao is not in top 5 teams in the league imo, with him they are probably first favorites. What a game changer.
 
Maledon plays big! I think we have a legit star coming out, after almost getting lost.
 
Shakespearean drama in Villeurbanne. Looked like Real won it at the buzzer, but instead Asvel did.

I didn't get how Asvel ended up inbounding from the other half though. If Roberson's was a legit block on Campazzo (I think it was), then why did the game stop while the ball was live? It should have been the end of regulation.
 
This clown penarroya is really complaining about the refs and a non call on nunez on the last 3 seconds. What about the 3 free throws on nunn stupid trash?

btw nunn hit 3 buzzer beaters in this game. 2 of them from half court or behind
 
Terrible game in Athens. Both teams having no idea what to do but luckily we found some good shots from Mitoglou and Nunn wore his superhero cape. I wonder how Edgar felt watching Satoransky dropping bombs :P I almost got an aneurysm in the end when we didn't foul and then fouled on a terrible 3 pointer.

Nunez was amazing he reminded me of Bodiroga at times. We're not utilizing Osman as we should. I think he's not that good of a spot up shooter, we need to run way more with him, but this requires securing the rebound which we can't seem to do.

I don't know what to make of Lessort. He is undoubtedly an offensive force but he is just so apathetic on defense. I think if you check stats (I haven't) his net contribution is positive but his defensive awareness is so bad that is very annoying to watch, I wish we had gone in a different direction than Yurtseven for our backup C.
 
I have been on so many games in OAKA but tonight when Nunn started with his craziness I felt like it's a earthquake. I don't think I have ever seen 2 buzzer beaters from the half court. They almost robbed us at the end. And Mitoglou plays the best game of the season when he plays at 5...imagine my shock. We need to send Sloukas in Syria.

I agree. Lessort is very bad in the defense but Yurtseven is somehow even worse. Btw, Lord Satoransky didn't get on my nerves. Nunez did.

it's about time Nunez is blossoming out, too. Long-awaited.

btw, if Sloukas is in Syria, north, he should be able to see the lights of my hometown. I'll send word, he can just cross the border, which is apparently wide open.

Nah, his starts are actually fine, his problem is that he cannot change the course of the game. Today it was not needed.
