Again, for the 65th time, THANKS FOR THE LAUGH!

you think Oturu is transfering Efes frontcourt from the worst into what, average or good? Can played Oturu and you weren't happy with Can. Mijatovic came, Oturu is injured, team starts to play good. He gives more chance to Osmani and Pleiss, less to Oturu and team is 8-2. Oturu plays against Virtus and he gets blocked 4 times in 2 mins. Was Mijatovic supposed to keep him on the court after that? As I said before, you probably didn't watch the game. Even if you have problem why he didn't play more in the games before, Mijatovic has 8-2 and no one should say anything. Oturu is horrible in the defense. He can block shots and that's it. P&r defense horrible, post-up defense horrible, switching even worse! Not to mention that he can't set the proper screen. He makes literally every game offensive fouls while trying to set the screen. But you just look on the numbers. I said like 10 times for Bryant that he is bad, not EL level, even in the summer. But the truth is from all the big guys he played the best against Virtus.

Clyubrn since Mijatovic came played incredible. Against Virtus he scored 1st 17 points. If he didn't play Efes would lose by 20. Again, what was Mijatovic supposed to do? Take him off after he scored 1st 17 points and after he is the best player in the last games so you can be happy? He should put Bryant who was horrible?

Again, you don't say anything about your Larkin who was horrible. Truth is, Mijatovic in 10 games had 8-2. In Turkish league he is 1st, defeated Fener. Only bad thing you can say about his results is pretty much easy win for Fener in the Turkish Cup final. That's it. Clyburn seems like a different player with him. Bryant had the best game of his career. Osmani became menace for the opponents. Hollatz is new nice addition. And he did that all in 2 and half months. And all we can hear from you is crying and crying when he actually brought Efes from the 16th place to 9th, secured HCA in Turkey and some players finally started to play like they should. It's not his fault that in the crucial game, Larkin who is the best paid player in the Europe started to run from the ball and had 5/14 shooting night with crucial turnovers in the last minute.

This post is priceless, what man can do and write without any need for that

Ok, you like Clyburn and Jones, I like Larkin,Osmani and Oturu. And now what?
From where you been punched with idea that I didn't mention Larkin. I was clear, I want him in Fener next season. Is that enough? I want that awful player Oturu too, so as Osmani

Just clown Mijatovic didn;t have an idea how to make his players to share the ball

I am starting to think that you didn;t watch the game, cos you didn't notice that all Clyburn first five minutes 17 points were from isos. When shoot stoped he wasn.t able to score anymore. Clown Mijatovic wasn't able to learn him how to give the ball in better position. if 8 assists at the end is ok for you, then you are realy comic guy and you didn't watch the game

Actually they weren't! Hahahaha, I knew you didn't watch the game! Great, your Larkin disappeared for who knows what time. Scared to take the responsibility. 5/14 and crucial turnovers at the end. But hey, it's Mijatovic's fault that Larkin can't hit open shot! I am asking you simple question, what Mijatovic had to do in that game so you could be happy? Games before are irrelevant. He is 8-2, no one believed Efes can take 10th place, he was 9th.

Against Virtus, what he had to do? Larkin played. He was horrible but I know you won't say anything about that. Oturu played and he was 4 times blocked in the 2nd quarter. Osmani played until he got in the foul trouble. Btw, you didn't say a word about Osmani until Mijatovic started to give him more minutes. You literally never mentioned him before that he deserves chance. Clyburn played fantastic 1st half. And about assists -

Efes is 10th in the whole season per team assists. They have little bit less than 3 than Real on the 1st place. 17.7 Efes, Real 20.5. Panathinaikos is 2nd at the end but has less assists per game than Efes. Zvezda has 18.5 assits and finished 16th! You see wrong logic?

look at this...since Mijatovic became coach, Efes had -
vs Milano 14 ass
vs Maccabi 20
vs Partizan 18
vs Bayern 20
vs Asvel 17
vs Olympiacos 19
vs Alba 17
vs Baskonia 19
vs Fener 19
vs Zvezda 23
When you count all of this it means they had 18.6 ass per game in 10 games with Mijatovic. These numbers put Efes on the 7th spot, very close to the 5th. Pretty good for the "clown" coach with only ISO plays on his mind, huh? :D

Not his fault that Larkin is overrated and doesn't exist in the most important games. And now, tell me what he had to do hahahahaha

What about Alimpijevic for potential Efes coach? (not rumour, just think out loud)
He is in Turkish basketball for 4 years, had amazing EC season with Bursaspor and solid one with Besiktas. He is still young and promising coach but i think that Efes need some big name and coach with autorithy to handle this team, not sure how Alimpijevic could do it but i would like to see that tbh.
His name came up a few times, but I think he'd a better fit for the Turkish national team. Because he seems to do better in short tournaments rather than in a long run.
regardless, I'm sure he will end up in the EL one day.

Letting Larkin go seems a bit hasty. :(
Larkin will always have a special place in our memories, many kids will have his picture as avatar in some forums in the future, but some relationships need to end. It will be painful but healthy for both sides. This is just me though, Efes might keep him.

Clyburn was a rebound affair (assuming Micic would leave) and it's been an utterly disappointing experience. His last ditch efforts, though appreciated, are not enough to keep this going.

Clyburn's 17 points in the first half were almost all produced out of good shots. This happened, because, I think, Banchi planned it this way. He did not expect him to shoot this well but it was part of his plan (in the 2nd half, he stopped the Clyburn surge with Abass). Banchi slowed the game down with pressure on guards and limiting their movement area. Against Efes's primary fixed five, Larkin was smothered, so that the ball had to stay with Hollatz, meaning we could not move the ball and run the usual penetrate & pass game. In the 2nd five, with same slowing effect, Thompson is useless when he cannot run, so Bryant & Beaubois are also inefficient.

in short, Virtus was well prepared, but it seemed Efes wanted to play its game, and Mijatovic could not adjust until the last 3 minutes. He could increase the ball handlers, and prepare something at least against the ex-Efes players, Dunston-Zizic-Polonara trio that he should have known very well.

@Levenspiel

Edgar didn't watch the game but I am sure you did. His 17 points were 5 3pt shoots and 2 FTs
From 5 3pt shoots only one was assisted(from Osmani), other shoots were isos or after drible, but all shoots were difficult. Ok he made it but for Efes was maybe better option slow start with more players scoring, then gamble if Clyburn will make shoots or not. If he made those shoots in 4th qt, then it would be hard for Virtus to come back.

Other then that I agree with you, Banchi gave a lesson to Mijatovic, who didn't prepare game at all.

Ideally you'd want any shot to be completely open. But that's not possible all the time, and iso is not a bad option when you have players who can convert them. This is the main difference between you & me I think when I say Clyburn's shots in that stretch were the right ones.

but, I think, Clyburn's hot form at the start masked the problem. Mijatovic should have realized the ball was always ending up with one player and his percentage was not normal. He should've used the Larkin/Bryant/Beaubois trio much earlier. This is my armchair analysis, which is probably faulty, but I suspect lack of coaching experience played a role here.

No, you said the right thing, with different words

Instead of letting go, Mijatovic should have insisted on more ball movement, finding open players, spreading the court, there are many weapons coach could use but he didn't

Efes won some games but not tnx to Mijatovic, but energy of the team changed when Can left and players started to make shoots. This was the 1st real test. All games they won were with big margin and high percentage, But in only tight game against Asvel they lost. Even Alba game was lost and just pure coincidence that the worst center in EL blocked that shoot and saved them

Efes needs new coach asap, but I think Mijatovic will stay and your nightmare will continue

The stupidest thing I ever read on IBN. Did you watch game dude or just highlihts on croatian tv? Unlike your puppets Clybern, wilbekin and Vildosa, he avoided shoot from difficult position and assisted to your puppet Clyburn but that lazy fool allowed Shengelia to take the ball from his hands. The whole world saw this except you biased obsessed fanatic

So the first play in tournament did not change the final regular season standings. 7. Maccabi, 8. Baskonia.

No, he was running away from the ball whole 4th quarter and when he finally took the ball he played ISO (which you obviously love:p) and he couldn't make any advantage so he jumped and threw away the ball and commit the turnover. It's completely the same if he took the shot and bricked or this turnover he made. In both cases he would make HORRIBLE choice like he actually did!!!! You already now what kind of buzzer beater that would be if WilbeKING had the ball in his hands:cool:

I would love to see Howard in the Panathinaikos. Imagine him with good C and where he has freedom with good teammates...Imagine if he starts with these crazy shots one by one... OAKA would literally explode.

So you don't have any player in Pao to match Larkin and his 2 titles and most Round MVP titles in the history of EL, so you found Fener's player to compare

Tonight Ivanovic showed how serious coach prepare team for do or die game, he gave a lesson to clown Mijatovic

No, it's not about that. I just think WilbeKING has bigger balls than Larkin.

With all my love to Scotty, and his love to Maccabi and Israel, he missed a lot of buzzer beaters here, unfortunately.

Make no mistake, I would love to see him playing with Lorenzo, and/or Baldwin in Maccabi, but that will never happen...

You see this janketa??? The fans of Maccabi woould like to see WilbeKING in their backcourt even though they might have on the best backcourt, at least on the paper. Just don't appreciate him! But at least you like Pierre so it's all good.

We have, but no one has bigger than my starboy from Fener:o

I am sure Vildoza is better and maybe next season we will see Wilbekin-Vildoza backcourt in Pao, regarding Nunn will probably leave
