if this game goes south, badly, is Messina staying? some popel think he's untouchable no matter what.
Yeah I assumed he would be in no danger but this has been a really rough start. Messina has credit in the bank and they're missing a lot of players, but the expectation for this season must be at least to make the playoffs...

No doubt that Red Star with Ivanovic is a much more dangerous team, congrats to them for sacking in time their previous weak coach.

We will see if after 2 very hard games on Sunday and Thuesday Maccabi can still be competitive in Serbia.

3rd game in 92-93 hours, Maccabi fought hard again but succumbed at the end. Tons of free shots missed.

How different would be the situation with a real sg, instead Federman jr and his friends brought the awful shooter Hollins, the inexistent Adams and the eternally injured Hilliard. Today they scored together 2 points lol.

Why didn't the last full offense (@00:25) go through Brown? Baldwin almost lost it, then there was about 9secs left.

Anyway, one observation I made is that Maccabi players did not show much passion. Even for the wrong calls, they were just putting their heads down and going on with the game.

You refuse see reality, and put the blame where it belongs. Kattash must go. Problem is not only in last offence. Problem is how Maccabi gets 27 points in first quarter.
Same stupid management, finally let Blatt to build the team, and put anemic, mediocre coach to lead it...
P.S. Hollins was defensive stopper on top EL level and has not brilliant, but OK percentage from 3p over his career. Suddenly Adams can't shoot? Hilliard, while after injury still cannot find himself in "Kattash system". The coach is the problem, not talented team, full of smart players.

Regarding the referees I have noticed the same thing, players and coach almost never protest. Perhaps they could do it from time to time but in my opinion protesting too much as other teams do (panathinaikos above all) only contributes to increase nervousness and/or lose your concentration.

Nigel Hayes Davis is the best transfer of this summer, change my mind

Seriously though he provided great value for money (600k?!)

It also tells a lot about Saras? inability to get the best out of his players

I am glad we are playing without the last Kokoskov's boy Pierre. Davis is much better on that position,

Maccabi fans vs Crvena Zvezda 2014.

Since then Maccabi did not win at Belgrade for 8 straight years:D

Outstanding player. Effective, consistent, and smart, plus all the tangibles. Not sure if overall, but best transfer of Fener. Probably the biggest surprise, too.

it is indeed annoying to watch teams protesting too much and to everything. But I believe you should express your disbelief when the call is obviously wrong. It is important in the EL. That's why some coaches, including Kattash's ex boss, have mastered this skill.

To your point, Tibor Pleiss also does not complain, and once he said he stopped it because it takes away from his energy.

What Itoudis and his team have accomplished as a whole is pretty good so far. His coaching is really maximizing the efficiency of players in rotation. Yet, I think they need one more direct contributor in roster instead of average names like Birsen, Booker or Pierre. Luwawu-Cabarrot would be a much meaningful add for Fener rather than Milano. As NBA progresses, I expect at least 2-3 quality players to make their turn to Europe. Fener should be open for the market and complete one high-level transfer during season.

What an amazing 1st quarter of the game of Partizan against Real!! It could be a halftime score.
About tonight's game of PAO against Villeurbanne, I just hope we start the game strong, for a change.

is quite hard explaining why dibartolomeo play just 13 min per match considering the madiocrity of this shooting ability roster. as is quite hard considering baldwind an euroleague star.
about our front court players i just consider them in term of kilos. euroleague payer level is something different
