SMB down so big against Tayoan. No excuses, SMB playing like worst than an La Salle

Only Meralco making an effort in the EASL.

SMB management are fucking shameful. Parang hindi man lang nag ensayo.

I'm sure meralco can beat that team that they were lose.. Disappointed that they can't rotate close out defense, no effort in making plays, the coach has no clue how to make adjustments... I hope meralco will make it in the semis.. Filipino fans will support them...

And they forgot that they are representing the PBA in this tournament.

They are also representing Philippine flag, Philippine basketball in general.. We are proud saying our league is best but with SMB? It's shameful... This 2024 season of Philippine basketball is very delightful for MVP camp.. meralco and TNT winning championships and Meralco doing well in EASL.. what's happening to SMC this year?

Probably no ROI. Are the viewers there for the EASL?

Just watch the Meralco game.

The energy from the crowd was different than what you normally see in regular PBA games.

And also, winning the EASL title also nets you $250k.

Plus the untapped potential of gate attendance and better marketing/promotion to TV viewers for higher ratings (advertisements).

Once leagues go asain this players will get huge paydays but for now, easl is avenue for gambling and a replacement (level up) to ABL..

It just smb are sucks... Plain and simple.. I'm sure meralco can beat that Taiwan team that they lose.. from the start of the game you didn't see any effort from the players, coaches.. and in fact, they have no reason for saying "The PBA is on going".. the league is on break.. so they can go all out on that game...maybe next time scrap that top 2 AFC teams will be representing EASL.. better combine all 3 conference performance and make top performing teams all season will be the ones who will represent...

The "highlight" of the game between SMB and Taoyuan is the scuffle between Jerico Cruz and Alec Brown.

I agree they cant revolve around Junemar unlike in the PBA so they are having problems but no way are they taking this as seriously as Meralco whove brought in Ange.

Do you think Meralco have a chance to make it to the semis? Their next 3 games are tough teams.. I hope they can make it in the semis and the games will be held in the country.. Meralco may not be fan favorites in the PBA but here in EASL, I'm sure Pinoy fans will support them...

Yeah, I think MERALCO have a chance to make the Final Four. They just have to win against two of KCC, Ryukyu, and New Taipei.
