Time for Vargas and the PBA to eat some humble pie, I expect Chiba to blow them out tomorrow but then again TNT already has that excuse of not fielding in their main local players lol

Pogoy and Erram injured, Oftana on vacation (I know he deserves it, but RHJ is playing), and Mikey Williams MIA.

Game today will be shown on Pilipinas Live app and One Sports plus on Cignal at 6 pm

Last tournament was revised. Maybe thats the reason for poor play

Should have applied to the teams other than SMB and TNT. Maybe it's because they've already had chemistry by then. SMB's and TNT's were hastily formed.

True but the teams they playing was together longer and TNT had one new import and an import they just axed.

Just like that, Chiba up by 12 pts. RHJ is shooting poorly. Quincy a non factor

As expected TNT lose but losing in a big margin is disappointing. hope they do better next time. RHJ needs some rest.

I expected a closer game. But, allowing Chiba to shoot 16-39 (41%) from 3 will not sit well with anyone.

And even the locals got outscored. 46-38 in favor of Chiba.

I do not know but maybe for EASL qualified teams let us bring in 3 imports. If we seriously want to compete

Losing was expected due to the quality of the TNT locals who played. Who was their coach btw? CC?

Yeah, TNT were really shallow. Castro was the only viable local scoring option, without Pogoy, Mikey, and Oftana.

The coach was Jolas.

Vargas and TNT will definitely use the excuse of not having Mikey Williams, Calvin Oftana, Roger Pogoy, Poy Erram and Justin Chua for getting blown out by Chiba lol. You can see the quality of the teams is like night and day, Chiba as a team is very disciplined on both ends while TNT is playing like its a pick up game and their go to play was the RHJ iso ball lol

I know it's too early to say, as TNT is not at full strength and that Meralco has yet to play an EASL game, but I really feel cheated that BGSM chose to opt out of this year's edition of the games. Like the prevailing sentiment here, I also believe that they're the only PHL pro team that can go toe-to-toe with any of the other Asian league champs and runners-up.
