Late run by ateneo to make it somewhat respectable. Nine point win for the dragons. Basically Ateneo won the late minutes without the dragon imports.

Correct. Its a tune up game. Should not be given too much thought. Just like people here thinks Ateneo is better than PBA teams because they won a tune up game.

Yeah its really hard to tell based on tuneup scores unless people get to watch the games. Some players rest, sometimes coaches try funky lineups, its only when we see tuneups like this one wherein we see what really happened in a game.

Besides, we should not expect too much from Ateneo. They might have a brilliant coach in Tab Baldwin but this does not change the fact that the players are still college players. Bay Dragons is a quality team composed of pro players from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau plus world imports with NBA experience and a medalled Olympic coach.

Agreed. I was enjoying the short minutes of action I saw from live streaming yesterday until I saw the comments section. Most were either just ignorant tools devoid of looking at things with proper context, or were knowledgeable of facts and were just plain trolling.

Ateneo can really beat PBA teams if Ateneo with its resident FS and PBA teams play All Filipino....Even La Salle and UP can also beat PBA teams...

Difference lang talaga is the defense all three of these teams play. UP-Ateneo finals was a defensive masterclass from both sides, while Manong got La Salle to play good 1-on-1 defense.
 
If its PBA rules and PBA refs....Pero if they play in neutral enviroenment like invitational or EABL for example maybtalo anh PBA teams if PBA teams play All Filipino and Collegiate teams play with their usual UAAP lineup with FSA..

PBA teams pjysicalitu and bully tactics on defense are actually dirty and foul in Fiba...

Mas high nantalaga ang quality of play in vollege level especially in the UAAP...Could be TAb effect, teama has to innovate and strengthen their lineup to jave a chance of beating Ateneo...

Dont know how ROS, Phoenix and BWB could matchup with Kuoame though...Walang bigs ang Phoenix...Belga will jist foul himself out due to his dirty tactics...
