Li Muhao talking trash on Junmar...Liaoning is the title favorites with Lance Stephenson and Salah Mejri

And then, there’s personal pride too, as in the case of Zhenshen Aviators big man Li Muhao, who’s looking forward to his showdown at the post with PBA five-time MVP June Mar Fajardo.

“I really look forward to going up against Filipino big man June Mar Fajardo,” said the 7-foot-2 center, a former member of the Chinese national team. “He’s a legendary player, but I don’t think he knows what he’s getting himself into.”

Li and Fajardo’s path are expected to cross as the Beermen and the Aviators are bunched together in Group B along with defending champion Ryukyu Golden Kings.

The 6-foot-10 Fajardo, coming fresh off a stint with Gilas Pilipinas in the FIBA World Cup, is doubtful to play in the tournament as he has yet to fully recover from the ankle injury he suffered in the national team’s opening game against Italy.

It would be funny if Slaughter scored double digits on him instead.

i think the terrific 12 should have gone the euroleague route by licensing ballclubs for a longterm. imagine if they give license to let's say:

LG Sakers
Hyundai Mobis Phoebus
Electroland Elephants

Chiba Jets
Alvark Tokyo
Tochigi Brex

Xianjiang Flying Tigers
Guangdong Southern Tigers
Liaoning Flying Leopards

Talk N Text Ka Tropa
San Miguel Beermen
Barangay Ginebra San Miguel

then expand to 16 teams with the remaining 4 leagues from other other leagues who have secured annual license.

mayabang because they got 7'2 Salah Mejri playing all his minutes. They have to show this to the San Miguel players and coaching staff.

I wish they could borrow Slaughter to add height on the team.He would be a great match up against 7'2 Li Muhao

Yup it would have been better if Ginebra is in instead of Blackwater, this would be a better challenge.

He is a decent stretch big but he isn’t on their NT which should tell you Zhou Qi and Wang ZheLin are better

li muhao was part of the 2015 chinese team that beat gilas 3.0. that chinese team was so big with zhou qi, wang zhelin, yi jianlian and li muhao.

Hindi sila magkakampi ni Salah, sa Zhenshen Aviators si Li Muhao, Salah's team Liaoning is bracketed with TNT

Is Li Muhao good?

was the 7'2 verson of matt ganuelas rosser, only become a gilas/China mainstay because of their "potential".. He was part on the 2017 China Blue team and guess what like Junmar, they were benched..

Nabong: ok. Noted.

Apparently, it was true that Junmar was playing hurt during the world cup? Perhaps that's why he looked like bonel Balingit trying to sprint down. Credits to junmar for still playing despite nursing an injury tho

Filipino professional players need to take care of their bodies and watch what they are eating. Maybe changing their diet and watching their weight will help them be more effective. JMF looks like he can lose another 20 pounds and still be powerful, not to mention more explosive. Maybe, it will prolong his pro career even.

Be like Luis Scola. Or Dwight Howard. i think even LeBron lost 10 pounds during the off season. Ditto with Kevin Love. Skinny is new healthy.

So he's dying to show off. JF can take him if he's in shape.

I am actually looking forward to this tournament after that forgettable world cup stint by Gilas.

Let us see how are PBA teams would fare.

It’s going to be a good gauge on where the pba is at in terms of competition in Asia. Personally I think the pba is up there.
