Too much one on one for SMB. Their playstyle is ugly to watch.

Even the better league teams in tournament are good in passing. Not much one on one.

What's SMC offense called? Motionless offense? Hahaha one guy dribbling the ball the rest are just standing.

our imports got weaker suddenly
Respect for Terrence 19pts/7reb/6assist top performance of the teams

After watching world cup I can not stand how PBA plays anymore. It's just so ugly to watch, makes me cringe watching our local players pretending to be Allen Iverson or somesh1t.

May ibinuga naman pala si Terrence. I expect his "fans" to be anxiously waiting for the next Romeo dud.

Would there be a 3rd placer game?

sa Basketball height, skill, good scouting and a very good system talaga ang puhunan. Our PBA brand of play doesnt work well in international competitions.Sometimes height and skill can be compensated if we play really good defense but to win against quality international ball clubs you really have to get all the requirements in check.

So where are the Coach Leo fans out there? Still think he is a good coach? Or did June Mar make him a successful one?

Not a Leo A fan, butbin fairness to him, he did ehat needs to be done in the PBA. He is a good coach. Good PBA coach to be more specific. He do not have enough internatiomal games in his resume to be able to quickly adjust to different styles. In other words, for now, for PBA only.

You gotta love the internet. You know, people judging a coach with a loss in a preseason tourney and not by his overall body of work.

a good 7 foot import would have done better than Prosper.Probably would have given the other smb import more confidence.

What is his body of work without June Mar?
Multiple Pbl and Abl champ? But of course you'd downplay that feat.

How sure are you any other coach would have had that many championships with Junemar and SMB? It's like predicting that the Warriors would win again last season's NBA championship. Most probably, but you can never tell.

Anyway, it's your opinion. But to come up with this via a preseason loss, without giving kudos to the previous wins against two other teams prior, just shows you are one of those "I told you, guys." posters pouncing on every opportunity to either bash or gloat.

I admit I'm like that with Leo. Until recently, he played his starters close to 40 minutes almost every game. So I'm not sure if it's his coaching or the starters who won those championships. He is good at preparing for each game. But he has problems adjusting when his game plan fails. In fairness to him he is distributing the minutes now. But it is because his first 5 are not as effective anymore and he has two mythical 5 level players who come off the bench in CS and Romeo.

My main beef is just because he has championships is some people bring him up as a Gilas coach. What exactly did he distinguish himself in? Yeng at least was the promoter of centers shooting outside in the PBA and is known for developing unknowns. Aside from championships what has Leo done?

I'm just wondering, if Romeo can easily score in Asian-level competitions (with or without import), can we all agree that he is a world-level talent?
