Qualifier 1,2 and 3 will be draw after preolympics tournament?

Crazy. Worse than the WC draw. If Brazil gets lucky enough to goes through the group, we have at least a 50/50 chance of facing the USA in the quarters. We are not finishing 1st or 2nd.

Most likely, cause there's no Qualifying Group 1 or 2 or 3 now. In 2012 it was additional draw too, tho OQT system was different

Are there any news yet about Brazilian NBA players commited to play for NT? I know only that Splitter is out injured, what about others?

Group B is sick

This is an Olympic tournament. All of the teams look strong. Group B is quite normal. If Serbia and France will land in Group A then the two groups will look quite equally strong. I would even give some edge to the group A. Serbia, France, Australia and of course USA definitely look stronger than Argentina and Nigeria. Brazil so far is a mystery for me. They might be strong. The last qualifier is in question as well.

What will happen If France lands in group B ? Death group?

Yes, it's Olympics, you can't expect a walkover. But let's say for Lithuania group A would've been way more better. There'd only one qualifier and secondly, we wouldn't have to play USA in 1/4. Also there'd be a good shot to finish 2nd. In group B we are even risking not to make it to play-offs, let alone facing USA already in 1/4. It'll be extremely hard to reach 3rd place.
Overall speaking, group B is much more equal. Nigeria might look as an outsider, but they'll make every team to work for a win, especially if they'll bring best players. I wouldn't even exclude a possibility of them making a play-offs. Group A is much more predictable. That's the difference here

Short of France or Serbia ending up in group A this is a great result for Team USA. Not as great as 2014 but still great.

You have a point here. Group A could be beneficial for us. It would be easier to advance to the next stage. However if Serbia and France is really in group A, then Lithuania could easily end up being No. 4. Which basically means Spain in 1/4. This doesn't look very promising either, does it? I believe we are in a good situation. 3rd place is quite reachable. I believe this place guaranties a way to not to meet USA up until the final. All the rest of the teams are beatable (of course it all depends on a squad we will have).

Everybody is playing despite worries about the playing time that most of them are getting in the NBA.

Still too early, waiting for the other qualified nations, but Group B looks already tough.
