HT score 39-13

If China can not do something positive in the 2nd half. It will be a shameful result for them.. 13 points in a total one half... We can see a record low score if it continues like this.

Worried for them!

Without Yi, they look very bad.

not only without Yi, china play this game withou any starter five. the bench of china is weak , u know that

I think Turkey play with their whole bench too.

Guo Ailun,Max Zhang,Jin Lipeng'total minutes in the last 4 game is less than 10,but today each of them played a lot....(Neither of them has any international experience before.Guo and Zhang indeed, even don't have professional experience...)

Wowww only 13 points in 20 min?????!!!!!!! What a shame.

a shame ? maybe , but i do not think so well, china starter 5 are very tiered already, they need rest, oki? this game is meaningloss already , we are now in the next round and have much more important game later, right? ;) so u must not care more for these bench-players games.:)

Oh dear chinese ,,I'm with you..It's not an important game . hope China defeat Lithuania in next round ,, Just forget this match.

China played very well during all the group stage and today, with the qualification secured, they are just managing their energies for further challenges :D

Ho ho ho hooooo!!! Whooooaaaa yeah yeah yeah, what a shoooow :D :D :D

Oh my word, with so much for the hype for Guo Ailun and the NCAA experience of Max Zhang they are simply not ready for this type of competition. I hope the young players learned a good lesson today from this spanking from Turkey.

how did china qualify to the 2nd round?? isn't it supposed to be puerto rico ? acorrding to points standing puerto rico has better gaol difference.. am i right or not??

On the positive side... Even Su Wei had 8 rebounds! He averaged 2.7 rebounds in CBA.....

Max Zhang and 35-year-old NT rookie Jin Lipeng had their taste of the World Champs and now they can go home happily.

Triple avg between Ivory Coast-China and P. Rico and PR is behind the China. ;)

You must not know who played so let's introduce these scrubs:

Su Wei: last year in CBA he did not have any injury but his total scoring was 12th in his team. DNPed lots of games and his only purpose in Turkey is to foul people because he's big, the only thing he can do.
NT experience: 2009 Asian Championship, barely played

Guo Ailun: no CBA experience whatsoever and won't have any until 2011-2012 season.
NT experience: 1 month (late addition), never named to "B" team or training camp before

Yu Shulong: 1 year of CBA experience, weighs 130lbs.
NT experience: 3 months, never named to "B" team or training camp before

Max Zhang: no CBA experience, rides the bench in NCAA. No offense to speak of, but he's tall.
NT experience: 2 months (late addition), never named to "B" team or training camp before

Jin Lipeng: 35 years old, only joined the NT because they lack a practice player after Zhang Bo was cut for violating the curfew. The NT just happened to be in Zhejiang where Jin's club was. Donewald liked him because he's hardworking and had a very sad history: He played in first ever CBA season and was one of the better junior players back then, but had myocarditis and had to retire before he became anything. He did not give up, went to university at the age of 27 to play against amateurs and came back to CBA at 30 or so. It was his dream to wear CHINA jersey and Donewald let him.
NT experience: 2 months (late addition), never named to "B" team or training camp before

Yep, I'm really worried.

I really didnt want to disrespect China. I really dont know your players. Their names resemble each other :) So, I could not remember their names, unless a guy is a very outstanding player. So thats normal I dont know your players and their background.

Now I learned that, they were all rookie players. However, no matter what, if a country which has a ppl more than 1.5 billion chose these players to play under China flag, I see them as the China NT. I do not bother if they are rookie or not. It is China's problem... And the majority of ppl in the world who follows this WC would have seen the situation like I saw. That's why I said, the score is going to be so shameful for China, if things would not change in the 2nd half.

That's how the coach BOB DONEWALD pick the players, not the best, but the most suitable and the potential.
Su Wei, Zhang Max. center, can do nothing but dirty work for Wang Zhizhi and Yi.
Ding Jinghui, Zhoupeng. PF/SF They are ok. But both are defensive players.

This 4 are about 22-24 old. no experience for NT before.

Yu shulong, 19 old, PG 1 year experience of adult game
Guo ailun,PG,score leader in the U17 WC this summer, no experience of adult game

This 2 are built for future, not now, no experience for NT before.

Jing Lipeng, 35 old, SG, no experience for NT before.
I don't know why he is picked.
He can do nothing, but shoot 3 points.

Sun Yue, the only eligible starter. Was a defensive player. Now he can play offensive, although very unstable

40 points in full match.That's a humiliation.
I'm angry to these players.Cant you all be a little more responsible to the jersey you wear?
Why choose these ones? The bench players are much more efficient and reliable when Junas was CNT's coach.
Danewald is ridiculous!

I dont think the game is unacceptable. Danewald has no choice.

Liu Wei, the PG of 31 years old, has played the Top 1 minutes in the tournament. There is no player, from China or any other country, played so many minutes. That's why he got turnovers at the end of the game to Russia. Yi Jianlian got injured with his left leg. Wang Zhizhi is 34 years old.

So Bod Danewald had to push all bench players to play the last game in the group. The problem is just that these bench guys are all ROLE PLAYERS. There is no core player or even scorer on the bench.

If Bob can forecasted a game for bench players, he might have difference method in the players picking. But the truth is that he selected role players for defence, rebounding or passing instead of scoring or shooting.

You know that, Bob Danewald still has the ambition to beat Lithuania even if the possibilty is 0.0001%. That is the reason whiy he rested all the starters except for Sun Yue.
