So far, this game is looking like a group A game, low scoring with a lot of defensive plays.

Uruguay leads 38-31 halftime

Go Uruguay! Show everybody Group B wasnt the toughest!
 
Wasn't expecting such a strong game out of Uruguay. 40-33 for them at half time. Dominican Republic can't afford to lose this game, dropping to 1-3 with Puerto Rico still on the schedule would be disastrous.

And losing a potential tiebreaker against Uruguay. That would nearly mean being out of the picture.
 
Wow Uruguay actually starting to pull away now i thought DR would be playing better to start the half! Who is this Leandro Garcia guy? Is he a hybrid of Leandro Barbosa and Francisco Garcia? :D
 
Uruguay settling for 3's. i know they are hot but it's not helping the pace at all as slowly but surely DR is feeding it inside and converting.
 
Nice little comeback by DR in the latter part of the 3rd but the Uruguayans are just too lucky (and of course, good) today exemplified by that final shot in the quarter: 64-56 for Uruguay. Now, let's see if they can keep this up.
