Day 3, Group C: Qatar vs China

They should give first place automatically to China and let the rest play for 2nd. Too many teas in this tournament are not even good enough for a warmup.

Com'on, man. thx for the good comment on Team China, but it seems a little disrespect to other teams.

Next game should be more exciting, China vs Lebanon, a very good team with talented players, Vroman, Fhari, No.15 Fhadib, to play with.

If it is another big win for China, I dont think there is any other team that can play a tie-game against Team China.

looking forward to it.

Damn it's just getting downright physical on Qatar's side. They are throwing out elbows as people cut, literally pushing off (and pushing the defender backwards with their arms) as they cut, not even playing basketball anymore more like a damn wild wrestling match.

China wins 92-61, only 31 points

Just take easy.:)

It's not worth to to bother about [deleted] players .
Don't get hurt is most important .

[You also should take it easy. This is a serious offense. - Levenspiel]

I have great respect for every athlete, but a solid handfull of teams has no business being there. Scores like 115-31, 122-54, 148-45, 121-49, 105-47, 108-38, 94-46 and more coming speak for themselves. In tournaments like the Euro Champs, you wouldn't see scores like that happen, because the qualification just to reach the final tournament is much harder, and you will only find teams making it there, who really belong to be on that level. Tis is certainly not the case in this tournament.

I saw the last 3 mins and the game highlights.

The impression I got from this limited sighting: terrible, terrible defense by Qatar.

next round will be like this

china vs uae

lebanon vs qatar

jordan vs kazakhstan

iam just wondering if qatar is playing at the level they played in 2005 when they hosted the asian games, or they are still not prepared

you've got a point! This is the reality: In Aisa, there are around 8 or 9 teams that can compete at the same level.

Asian Basketball cannot compare to that of Euro, thats why Team China will have a tough time even playing a friendly match with Euro teams.

Yea you won't even have enough teams for a legitimate continental tournament if you only include teams that can plat within say 10-15 points of each other. Plus Asia isn't well established like in Europe and not as many countries play basketball. The focus unfortunately right now is more in the development of basketball in smaller countries.

I think it's very unreasonable for Qatar 's coach to use insulting sentence
at the end of press conference .
He said :“FUCKING QUESTION!” mad:
