Well I suppose four straight good games was too much to ask for.

Do Newzelanders play?
I think they sleep!!!
However,I believe in a comeback...

The fact that 7 users of this forum predicted that New Zealand would win this game is depressing to me. Are people paying attention at all to the preparation games or to the respective rosters of the teams?

The next game is unlikely to be any good either. ;) But hopefully the evening game will provide some excitement.

With FYROM looking good today, does anyone think that Russia will consider tanking their game against the Dominican Republic in order to avoid them in the QFs? Since Russia is arguably better than every other team in the tournament, I guess they don't have to resort to such tactics.

I never knew that New Zealand players are coming to Venezuela just to show teir HAKA !!!!

Considering the 1st quarter I suppose New Zealand should be happy to only be down 13.

<Russia wants to avoid FYROM?>This thought is too strange in my ears...:)
Why do they want to avoid FYROM and play with Angola, which is better?
And Russia is not the best team in the tournament.
Do you forget that Greece beat them in a preparation match,
without Bourousis,Fotsis,Zisis and Spanoulis?

this thing can happen...but than to mostly teams who are cheating like that god himself punishes them.Best example is greeces i 2010 they lost on purpose to russia to avoid usa in 1/4 and got spain in 1/8 :D
If you look closely there arent big diference between 1 or 2 place in group,so russia definetely gonna think about that, but i feel if they gonna cheat like that i feel they gonna win 1/4 but sports god can pusnishe them in close games in semifinal/bronzes matches agaisnt other europe teams...

Pledger or Fletscher or however he is called is the worst player ever seen

and????
in football, small countries like Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, andorra are also not allowed to let play brasilians, argentinians, germans,.... to be competetive against nations like spain, england, germany, france.
this is sport.

Actually, in football I don't think there is even a limit to the amount of naturalized players you can field. Liechtenstein, Lux, and Andorra can and sometimes do field naturalized players. The best player in Liechtenstein's football history, Mario Frick, is actually Swiss, and several in the Andorra squad are originally Spanish. If Andorra could naturalize a guy like Messi they'd do it in a heart beat.

sry, but you are totally wrong...these guys were either born in germany, or living there since their youth . is sth else then naturalize players, who never been in the country before, or maybe playing few years there.
in france, england - there a lot of colored guys, but these guys were born in this country

This is not last years F.Y.R. of Macedonia. I sense some bad karma between the teammates.

Most of these guys are German my birth and one of their parents is German.
They were born in German, grew up in German and learn how to play football in German. This has nothing to do with naturalization.
It doesn't matter if their parents or grandparents have roots somewhere else.
Anyway, we are off topic...

Too many turnovers by NZ...
Losing by a big margin means that they will have to win Angola by a big margin too, in order to qualify.

Looks like they finally finished the kiwi's off.

I think the scenario's are Angola wins the group if they win, fyr of Macedonia wins the group if angola loses close, but Angola would still qualify for the next round, New Zealand qualifies if they win over Angola huge.

FYROM is +18
Angola is +4
New Zealand is -22

New Zealand must beat Angola by more than 13 points in order to qualify and leave Angola out.
I cannot see this one happening...

In fact, I think Angola will win tomorrow.

.
Because they grew up in German and they learnt german football, that means they are German?
If you were grewn up in Spain, you learnt spanish football and you played in spanish nt with a name Stathis Argiropoulos for example that means that you are Spanish?
