Do or die game for the Euros as they take on the tall blacks. Can they bounce back? Or will they be bounced out?

I honestly haven't seen New Zealand play this year, so I can't really say.

What I can tell you is that if Macedonia isn't able to put New Zealand away early, the pressure might start getting to them.

What a shame that Tom Abercrombie and Kirk Penney are not playing on this tourney.

I'm going with Macedonia. I don't know much about New Zealand. It doesn't appear that this NZ squad has the scrappy, competitive edge that past teams have had. In their only pre-tournament friendlies, they lost by an average of 24 ppg to Brazil, Nigeria and Greece. Kirk Penney and Sean Marks are not coming through that door!

Macedonia should win this, unless they overindulge in three-pointers and have a bad shooting day like they did today. If everything goes well, I predict + 10-15.

FYROM will be disappointed and tired from the match vs Angola. If Penney and Ambercrompie were there things would have been better for the Tall Blacks. But without these two, New Zealand is very weak.

I will go with FYROM on this one. They will win but I don't expect a big win margin. Tall blacks always play with heart.

At last, time for some Haka...

FYROM wont have enough powers to beat New Zeland,
so I go with the islanders.

Had Kirk Penney and Abercrombie not been injured and were playing with New Zealand this would have been a totally different story.

FYROM should be able to win against New Zealand but it won't be that much of any easy game. I say the difference will be +7 for FYROM.

Bold Prediction: FYROM 86 - 79 New Zealand

ok, Tall Blacks once have a very decent team which could put up a fight against even elite opponents but this generation is mostly gone: there are no players comparable to already finished with the NT (and in some cases with basketball) Pero Cameron, Phill Jones or Mark Dickel. Having in mind that the current team indisputable leader Kirk Penney is missing this tournament I don't think that NZ has non-marginal chances against solid European team like Macedonia. Though Macedonia could be emotionally broken after surprise loss to Angola and their psychological problems could be serious enough for New Zealand to be competitive. Still I think that Macedonia will win this one with difference +10 to +15.

I can not see that Macedonia play as poor defence yeat again as last night. We did underestimate Angola if you think that you can win by playing defence just last 15 min of the match.

Whats has made us good over the last few years 2007 in Spain, 2009 in Poland and 2011 has been our work in defence.

Wake up call boys the tonry has started. Angola did shoot very good but let be honest we didnt put any stress on the shooters until last 15 min.

I hope, Macedonia will lose again tonight.
They are only here, because of the naturalized McCalebb . Without him, Macedonia would never qualified for this event. Such national teams, are no real national teams.

Now that you mentioned Bo McCalebb (which obviously is a direct descendant of Alexander the Great) I noticed a scene in the game against Angola which surprised me somehow.
It was directly after the offensive foul call he got when he jumped over the Angolan player. He hurt his back quite hard and when a F.Y.R.of.-Macedonian teammate (I think it was Gecevski) came close to check if Bo is OK, McCalebb hustled him away.

Is there some bad chemistry going on in the F.Y.R.of-Macedonian team?

I agree with you.
I will support New Zeland.

There's this song by Justin Timberlake, called "Cry me a river". :)
