As Ataman is not anymore the coach, and I am not worried Dixon will be injured, I can freely hope we will stay in the tournament. Quarter final will be a success for us to be honest. Cedi and Furkan must step up their game and lead the team, which is a huge ask, but they are the best we have right now.

That Turkish team is limited on offence... Every game of scoring above 75 pts and making less than 20 turnovers will be a miracle in this tournament.

Russia looks more fundamentally sound so far. Nothing impressive (except Shved's threes), but a bit more ball movement, smarter decisions, a little bit of inside, outside diversity at offence. This Turkey team will be a bit limited and raw for this tournament most likely.

PS: To Liths, I'm watching the game commented by Ceponis and Pacesas. What an annoying dudes, "masters of suspicion"...:o

This Turkey team has no chance at next stages. Dixon's injury seems like a bigger problem than people thought.

Not a best game, but Turkey has no answer to Mozgov and his Pick'nroll with Shved.
Good game by Chadly, some nice work by Erden, but Turkey needs one more G to take control here

Dixon injury is more then problem for us. Maybe we will win tonight or not but we are now without any chance for any miracle on our homecourt. We don't have any above average player except Cedi and Guler. Sarica is doing god job until now.

Guler needs to stop holding the goddamn ball in EVERY pick & roll. We need to stop careless turnovers and need to run more fastbreaks as our halfcourt offense is pretty much dead unless our guards manage to create something out of thin air.

so many crazy turnovers by Turks and Russians .... looks like streetball ..

What an ugly game. Russia playing so bad in the second half still winning.

Turkey would win if it would be a home refering, but it wasn't.

Russia is not the same as it used to be. Shved, Fridzon, Mazgov core is not the same as Kirilenko, Khriapa, Monia. Maybe they will improve during the tournament, but now it doesn't look like medal contender.

Other than Cedi and Semih nobody played that good. Cedi was amaizing tho. Refs were really bad. All other mistakes aside giving a technical to coach when we steal a ball and going to fast break while we were 1 point behind was silly

Such a smart comment... NOT

I won't comment about referees because even though Russians shot a shitload of free throws we deserved it with stupid fouls.

Cedi with 28p 7r 4a 7s. He deserved to win it, what a game by him.

This game will most likely cause us be 4th instead of 3rd, if we can win against Belgium and GB. Well, not everything is lost.

talent-wise, this is our worst NT in the last 20 years. with this level of teamwork, 2003-2012 team would've utterly thrashed russia, sad...

The loss is on Güler. Terrible performance by him, simply a handbrake. Let alone the offensive ineffectiveness, he made bunch of amateur mistakes that you don't see them even a highschool tournament. What a disappointment.

Osman is a pure heart, however we didn't have a second one who could keep his company on court. 28 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals. What else can he do? Damn, Güler.
