Belinelli is a black hole on this italian NT - hogs the ball, shoots ill-advised long range jumpers and kills the chemistry of the team. Pianigiani should really start benching this guy if he wants to achieve anything in this EC

Serbia played really reluctant in the first quarter. I am missing that old balkan pressure by using the fouls up to the bonus as soon as the referees manages to notice.
Letting Mačvan go off like this, normaly when he gets hot he can be a terrible trouble. Galinari is a great addition for Italy.
 
Belinelli is such a black hole. He hogs way too many shots. I would understand if he were incredibly hot, but he isnt. He misses and makes some stupid decisions with the ball.

Ivkovic was not complaining abou foul. He was complaining about Cusin not legally picking ball above the cylinder. Or that 24 seconds were out without ball touching rim when Cusin offensively rebounded. Or both.
 
come on -10...italy need to take advantage finally bargnani getting his act together...

Hard to concentrate on this game, while those cheerleaders are so hot :).
 
Italian team= Gallinari + Bargnani + Belinelli (each of them is making a shot immediately when they get a ball) + some other guys who are running around pretending like theyre part of the team. Conclusion: oh yeah, they are real contenders to medals...

Refs get instructed at halftime.
 
Looks like a great comeback for Itally. Dont know why Serbs dont get Macvan involved more with the ball. He has been playing well they should try to run something off him really rather than ignore him and brick shots with guards.
 
really...so how do you explain now its -4....and hackett, mancinelli and carareto all involved..please stop hating...now bargnani has woken up you are scared...whether italy win or lose, they showed character that is missing since 2004 silver olympic medal...they are not gold contenedrs but top 6 yes...gallo cannot be marked
 
Serbians can't do anything against zone defence.If they won't figure out how to score against it in the 4th quarter,Italy will win.
 
Stupid foul by Bargnani. A clear intentional and he gets rightly called for it.

Xristos - with all respect it was a play into the body not into the ball when the player was driving and most likely would have scored - not a bullshit call really.
 
italy finaly starting to show energy, but i thin it's bit to late as serbians look to well organized to let lead

I'm surprised both teams shoot so poorly from the outside. They have to improve with that if they want medals.
