Its official Radonjic wont be anymore coach of Zvezda
big shame for "president" covic and another "president" vucic! fuck u both, stupid assholes.

Can't agree more....idiots...thank you for all good man!
Now I'm so sorry that I bought seasonal ticket again...

I think he joined some summer league or something. Their league begins in October, so he will run out of that summer contract and be able to sign for Zvezda if he wants. I personally wouldn't like it but it's possible.

Yeah, at first, when he signed, I thought that it might be that Chinese summer league too, which is already ongoing, but actually no, his team is from CBA, which starts in October. Also I saw an article with beard-less him and Kruno Simon(or some lookalike guy?) bein' on holidays in Croatia some week ago

Rumors are growing that Zvezda wont even play in next Jordi Cup..no matter how Zeliko tries to help them with 1 million buyouts for mediocre players. No money no honey

If you think that Zeljko would ever help Zvezda, you are delusional :D Do you even remember his episode in Belgrade this year? :D

Regarding the rumor, all I am gonna say wishful thinking :D

unintentionally or not he helps them..i dont think any other team would give 1 million for him and those are money Zvezda desperately needs.I;ve heard the rumor from two different sources.Jordi has a big dilemma.Losing the f4 host due to financial troubles would be humiliating but he also desperately wants to give Bayern that wild card..In the end its very possible Jovic plays in Jordi Cup while Zvezda doesnt.

It's very far fetched, since to do that he would have to make ABA League irrelevant and kill the qualification spot for the champion of ABA in EL. If he does that, he will then lose the whole Balkans support. That is not a coffin in his organization but it is a big blow. Also giving Bayern the WC will raise quite a few red flags in Turkey and Russia who will react to that. Having them on a bad sign will be an issue as well. This is why I think that this kind of scenario is extremely unlikely.

Regarding Zvezda and finances, they will once again confirm the entrance with bank guarantees and then try to settle outstanding issue as the season progresses/ends.

Hey I love Matt Costello! Tom Izzo school of tough :D

I think he could be a great add, but I am not sure whether he is even considering Europe or will take the D-League path.

Dang my guy for you signed a two way with the Spurs.

Yeah, especially that buyout for Kalinic was really crazy... Not

Do not feed Koncak please. :)

There are strong rumors about Zvezda and Michael Gbinije. Maybe we will announce him and Pullen soon.

I mentioned that in rumours topic. Any info about him?

You have my take in the Rumors thread. I good player for EL, really great in some areas. I am a bit concerned on having him with a crowded SG/SF rotation of Dangubic/Dobric/Lazic/Rakicevic

Alimpijevic is younger then half El players:D

He is exactly the same age Obradovic was when he took over Partizan as a rookie coach and won the EL :D :D :D Coincidence? I think not :D

Now we have to start pumping HGH into our youngsters so they can beast out like Djordjevic and Danilovic :D

That's quite romantic vision though...
The diference is huge between those two cases.
Obradovic had a huge back up in that time, with legendary Prof. Nikolic as an advisor,Alimpijevic has Topic who has been assistent coach in Hungarian league for 2 seasons.Partizan from that era had Djordjevic and Danilovic who were among the greatest in Europe in that time,no matter how young they were,we have few hard workers and some unproved talents, and we miss 2/3 of the team for the moment. What is even worst,we don't have a budget to import the quality. In modern basketball pure talent simply is not enough unfortunatelly.
Alimpijevic also has an pressure of previous results and balast called Radonjic on his back, also he lost almost complete team. The supporters are spoiled after last 3 seasons and I think that all of this Obradovic didn't have on his back on 1991.
To resume-I wish Alimpijevic and our club all the best,we will support them anyway, but he is dancing with a devil for the moment,I wouldn't be in his shoes next season...

Dude I was kidding :D

He is a kid with a talent and he can improve as the team does. It's obvious that we will rebuild and build a new team over next few seasons. If they are going to tolerate him and his growing pains he could be a good one for the future.

One thing is sure, we will be a better offensive team and play with more tempo. He also has a knack for game management, which was a weak point of Radonjic

I think we should make an effort to add Ben Bentil. He played at Providence and was drafted by the Celtics but couldn't cut it in NBA and has bounced around the D-League.

I think he can be a good add for us and has a good skillset to play a stretch PF for us, and still be a great rebounding presence and in transition. He was a bad defender but is quite athletic and with some scheme and discipline he would be a decent defender.

Jameel Warney is a undersized PF that has a lot of strength and good inside presence. He is not a freak athlete but very strong and mobile. He is also a great defender. I think he will not get a chance in NBA under any circumstance so why not try to lure him to Europe.
