Hello serbian friends,

A little bit off topic here. Me and buch of my friends are planning to visit Belgrade on 31st of March to watch a game between Crvena Zvezda and Unics. We would like to experience the atmosphere of your arena and cheer together for your team. The main problem is the game tickets. I cannot find any serbian platform to buy it online. Maybe someone of you could help me to sort this tickets thing out ? Thanks ;)

Nice to see that somebody else is interested in watching us live:D
It is still unknown if the last home game will be played in small hall Aleksandar Nikolic, like the previous ones, or it will be in Kombank arena, although it should be free at that time.
If it will be in small hall, it is almost mission impossible to buy the tickets. Seasonal tickets are 2/3 of the hall, than sponsorship tickets, and guests, so the quantity of the tickets that you can buy is usually sold in 10 minutes after start of selling, and you should be extremely lucky for that. They start to sell the tickets 2 days before the game, at 10:00h, and usually just 10 people or so, manage to buy it on every selling place in Belgrade, and online they are selling tickets trough following web page:

but to purchase it online is a matter of pure luck, and it should be in 5 minutes after start of selling.
The situation is changing if they play in Kombank arena, than it should be easier to pick up the tickets, in person, or online. You should be ready for purchasing at 10am 2 days before the game anyway
 
Does anyone know something about this Jovic injury business? Rumors say he's not injured but in some disagreement with the club about not letting him go to Barca, not paying him, etc....
 
Complete misinformation, he has chronic injury spinal disc herniation and this rythm is killing him. Although there were Barca enquiries in the beginning of the season, he is just not that kind of a guy who would abandon the team mid-season, especially considering his proven love towards Zvezda.
 
He has discus hernia in his back, that was never deemed serious enough to need surgery and he handles it with rest. It flares up on him during last 3 years whenever he gets too much of a load and connects too many games in a short period. Playing Euroleague, ABA and that retarded Serbian cup with 8 games in 11,12 days was just ridiculous and his back acted up. They twice tried to force him back into rotation, without enough rest and he couldn't go full speed so he missed games.

I was so angry yesterday since I hear rumors that they might play him vs Buducnost. Fortunately Radonjic was of sound mind to let him miss that game and he will be a go vs Olympiakos. Jovic's injury will not go away just like that and national team things in the summer make it harder, since he is a warrior and wants to play. They will give him prolonged rest after ABA playoffs and once Serbian league kicks off. He will be spared and only played in Euroleague if we are still in it then.
 
So how do you guys feel that the game that your "brothers" stole probably cost you the playoffs?
 
Jovic cost us...As I said, with him we were in fight for 4th spot, after his injury we are not top8 team.

And still we could play play off with little luck against Oly or if Brise won Dacka, but Real is the worst opponent.
 
I watched some red star's games this year. They played a great defence and they would have deserved to play playoffs for their team spirit of sacrifice.

My impression (confirmed by the numbers) is that the team paid its bad 3pt percentage. 33,1% but actually in the games they lost the percentage was much worse sometimes, in addition they missed a lot of free shots in the games i watched. Darussafaka shot 37,4%, this makes a huge difference.

Everyone knows the positive tradition of Serbian shooters, the team should try to engage someone from the domestic league.

Jenkins is MVP, well deserved. Great season for him, for me one of the best guards in EL. Wolters was also great in this series, maybe we should keep him for next season.

Pity for Jovic, his injury costed us top8...

I hope we will end contract with Mitrovic and try to sign some athletic PF. Jonah Bolden from FMP is great prospect for euroleague but he has NBA ambitions for now.

Well, normally I would be glad to hear that CZ won't be in Euroleague but not due to financial reasons. Hope you can solve problems.
 
F4 will be held in Belgrade.

I hope that Crvena will overcome these problems and will fight for F4 with better budget than last year.

Also stop believing Eurohoops. That website spreads so much non-sense. The participation in Euroleague is not under the question mark. We are playing next year. The team has financial troubles every year, this year makes it no different. It's just a fan-oriented activity to raise some money and help the club. We run these kinds of promotions every year, even few times every year.

Many many times I told the same thing. I can't be racist against Serbs. The man, who helped me have one of the happiest day of my life, is from Serbia. If anyone tells anything wrong against Serbs, I will be against him...

I would like every European club have strong finances. CZ too. But I will be happier if Partizan joins Euroleague instead of CZ...
