If Pavlovich were to return to Europe in the near future, would he be an immediate star player?

Pavlovich interview:

Pavlovic is a great player that could have a huge impact on any team if he had the right situation. When he played with the Cavs, he had many fantastic, 20+ point games. He's a high flying player who finishes well at the rim. He's an off forward/small forward, which is the most talented position in the game both in Europe and the NBA.

Pavlovic could be a great "supporting cast" player on a very good team if he had the opportunity for minutes. Unfortunately for him, there just aren't many good opportunities because NBA teams prefer to "develop" younger players and European teams don't want to pay superstar money to a supporting player.

He could be a much more valuable player in the NBA or in a big Euro team, but he's far from a star.

Just because you play in NBA doesn't mean you will become an exponentially better player in Europe. I think Pavlovic is a solid player when given the opportunity but his game doesn't suggest that he'll ever be a star in either leagues.

I agree with you, Franz.
