Great Week for the Cavaliers and Suns because they are the 3rd and 4th best teams in the ESPN Power Rankings.

Congratulations to LeBron and Amare :D :) :D

New York, NY -- (Sports Network) - Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James and Phoenix Suns forward Amare Stoudemire were named the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for the period ending November 9.

James posted a league-high 34.5 points per game as the Cavs finished the week a perfect 4-0, including two 41-point efforts in a pair of wins over Chicago. On November 3 against Dallas, the six-year pro picked up a steal which made him the youngest player in NBA history to reach 10,000 points, 2,500 rebounds, 2,500 assists, 700 steals and 300 blocks.

Stoudemire averaged 28.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists as the Suns went 3-1 over the past seven days. He recorded 49 points on 17-of-21 shooting from the field and 15-of-15 from the foul line in a 10-point win over Indiana on November 5. The 25-year-old also hit 64.6 percent from the field over the course of the four contests.

Other nominees in the Eastern Conference were Atlanta's Joe Johnson, Boston's Ray Allen and Orlando's Dwight Howard. In the West, Portland's LaMarcus Aldridge, Utah's Carlos Boozer and Golden State's Andris Biedrins garnered mention.

Fantastic. My only complaint is Williams' 16 points. He's got to shoot better than 3-11. I'm also worried that the minutes of Williams and West are taking minutes away from Gibson. Gibson is a blossoming player, and he's a great athlete. I want to see him more than West.

As for LeBron, I think this could be his MVP year. Can he get to the 30+ average scoring per night?

Also, Varejao had another great night. 13 points (5-5) and 10 rebounds. That's pretty good! I said in another thread that he'll have another 6 point, 6 rebound year (which isn't bad for us), so I think I was wrong.

Bogut was disappointing yesterday. He should be an All-Star, but I guess he couldn't handle Big Z. Jefferson was fun to watch.

Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Denver Nuggets, 110-99. This is the Cavaliers 6th consecutive wins in the regular season, and i also expect a great game againts the Utah Jazz this coming Saturday.

Good victory, but LBJ scored only 22 points. Pathetic. :D :D

I am happy for the team success of the Cavs, and we already beaten 2 stronger teams in the Western Conference the Denver Nuggets & Dallas Mavericks.

I hope Mo Williams and Zydrunas Ilgauskas will join LeBron in the 2009 NBA All Star Game because the Cavs are currently the 3rd best team in the league right behind the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers.

By the way the East is currently leading the West in their head to head matchup this year, 24-12.

That was an amazing come from behind victory by the Cavaliers. Mo Williams is really a great acquisition, and i love his intensity on the floor.

LeBron James is just the best scorer in the NBA with a Game High 38 points as the Cavs defeated the Utah Jazz, 105-93.

Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the New Jersey Nets, 106-82. LeBron James became the youngest and fastest player to score 11,000 points in the NBA.

Great game also from Ilgauskas, Williams, West, and the rest of the Cavaliers Bench.

Cavs are now the best team in the Eastern Conference. :D :D :D

LeBron James scores 31 in showcase win over Nets

By TOM CANAVAN, AP Sports Writer

Posted Nov 18 2008 10:25PM

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.(AP) LeBron James scored 31 points in showing the New York metropolitan area what might be on the free agency market in 2010 and the Cleveland Cavaliers rolled to their eighth straight win with a 106-82 decision over the New Jersey Nets on Tuesday night.

James added eight rebounds, four assists and a remarkable blocked shot on a play late in the third quarter when he chased down Nets point guard Devin Harris on a fastbreak and prevented a dunk.

Mo Williams added 16 points and six assists and Delonte West hit all four of his 3-pointers in the decisive third quarter when Cleveland broke the game open.

Harris, who was looking for his fourth straight 30-point game, had 23 points to lead New Jersey. Vince Carter added 12, shooting 3-of-12 from the field as the Nets' two-game winning streak was snapped.

James is scheduled to become a free agent in 2010, and there already has been speculation that the Nets and the New York Knicks are already clearing salary cap room to make a run at the 23-year-old who on Tuesday became the youngest NBA player to reach the 11,000-point plateau.

Before the game, James said he would not hesitate to leave Cleveland if another franchise offers him a better chance to win multiple NBA titles.

"I think you do what is best for you and you do what is best for your career,'' James said when asked about his sense of loyalty to the Cavaliers before they played the Nets in New Jersey.

James put on a show for the less than capacity crowd at the Izod Center against a team partially owned by his friend, rapper Jay-Z. He dunked, hit layups and faked Jarvis Hayes out of his socks on a great cross-over dribble move that got him his 11,000th point, and finally entertained the crowd with a late tap-in on an alley-oop from Zydrunas Ilgauskas in the closing minutes.

By that time the game was over.

Trailing most of the first half, Cleveland got within three points at the half and then blew things open in the third quarter, outscoring New Jersey 28-13.

Williams tied the game with a 3-pointer off an assist by James. West put Cleveland ahead with a 3-pointer from Williams and Williams nailed a 3-pointer off another James assist. West, who scored 12 of his 16 points in the quarter, then capped the 12-0 spurt, hitting another 3-pointer off a Williams' assist.

Cleveland led 77-65 at the end of the third quarter and Daniel Gibson iced the game, converting a four-point play to open the final quarter.

Notes: James (23 years, 323 days) replaced Kobe Bryant as the youngest player to score 11,000 points when he hit a jump shot late in the first quarter. Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers was 25 years, 99 days when he got 11,000. ... Cavs coach Mike Brown seemed to pull a hamstring retrieving a loose ball in the game ... Cleveland outrebounded New Jersey 50-39 and blocked eight shots.

Thanks to Time Warner Cable, I couldn't watch the game. For $30 a month, they should stop preempting the Cavs for freaking hockey games.

With a 24 point victory, I'd like to see JJ Hickson get more than 3 minutes of garbage time. Still, a great game.

We had a rough game last night. I finally got to watch Cleveland play. LeBron was incredible...he is unstoppable when he drives to the hoop. Big Z and Mo Williams were OK, but one of them needs a good game if we're going to beat a team like Detroit.

Iverson looked pretty good. Yeah, he still dribbles a lot, but he's also still Allen Iverson. Detroit is still a fierce team. I think they've right up at the top of the East, along with Cleveland and Boston, with Toronto, Philly and Orlando a step below.

NBA.com Players of the Month: LeBron James, Chris Paul

The Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James and the New Orleans Hornets' Chris Paul today were named the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Month presented by Kia Motors, respectively, for games played from the start of the season (Oct. 28) through November.

James has led the Cavaliers to a 14-3 record while averaging 27.8 points on .491 shooting to go along with 7.2 rebounds and a team-high 6.4 assists. James became the first player since Michael Jordan in 1991 to score 40-plus points at least three times in his team's first eight games. James became the youngest player in NBA history (23 years, 324 days) to score 11,000 points when he hit a jump shot late in the first quarter against the Nets Nov. 18.

Paul paced the league in assists (11.6 apg) and steals (2.80 spg), while averaging a team-high 20.3 points, as the Hornets went 9-6. Paul recorded two triple-doubles and 10 double-doubles for the month. Paul has recorded a steal in 97 consecutive games, the longest active streak in the league. Paul is eight games away from Alvin Robertson's record 105 games with a swipe.

Congratulations to LeBron James, and Chris Paul for winning the NBA players of the Month in their respective Conferences.

Cleveland crushed New York last night. They won by 36 points.

It was a beautiful victory for Cleveland. The interior passing was absolutely delightful to watch. LeBron made a pair of passes in the lane which Varejao flushed. Big Z had some mighty nice dunks as well.

Perhaps more importantly, our team defense has improved tremendously since last year. Was I wrong to criticize Mike Brown last year? Maybe. LeBron, Big Ben, Z, and Varejao all played great defense.

Furthermore, Gibson got some great playing time for the first time I've seen this year.

watch games online !

Cavaliers are the 2nd best team in the NBA, and I am glad that Coach Brown finally made an adjustment in improving our offense.

I would love to see their performance, when they finally face a dominant team in the regular season.

I am really disappointed that the Western Conference is not dominant this year, so i expect the Lakers to advance once again in the NBA Finals, and maybe face the winner of the Boston-Cavs Series.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas is now the Cavaliers All time Leading Rebounder, and in the same night LeBron also surpassed Mark Price as the Cavaliers All time Leader in Steals.

Congratulations to LeBron and Z, and the Cavaliers are decimating their opponents in the 2nd half. According to NBA.com the Cavaliers won the nine games in their streak by an average of 21.5 point

This period in time is clearly the best the Cavaliers have ever played. The Price/Daugherety years were great and there is reason for comparison, but both LeBron and Z are the best players we've ever had on the team.

This is starting to get a little disappointing, because I'd rather watch close games. These blow-outs are getting to be boring!! :D

Cavs are very impressive, I would never think i'd say that about a team featuring Lebron. But, right now...
Also, I was impressed about the number of times Lebron dunked the ball against Raps(Not that Lebron James dunking has anything really impressive, he is too tall and big for that). Were they so tired?
