Cleveland Cavaliers 2010-2011 Jersey

They changed their Jersey when they drafted someone named LeBron James. Seven years later, they changed their jersey again.

Seems nice though.

It's time to move on Cavs! Just forget about Queen James. Lol. :D

They're OK. They're not great. They're just average NBA jerseys, in my opinion. Unfortunately, NBA jerseys are not very creative.

For creative jerseys, you have to go outside the NBA. Personally, I'm very partial to the jerseys in the PBA. They at least try to be new and creative.

Really looking forward to this uptempo game that Cleveland Cavaliers Head Coach Byron Scott is talking about. It could be noted that Scott's system of the uptempo game can actually lead to wins; think of New Jersey Nets from 2002-2004 and New Orleans 2007-2008.

Run and Gun? Small ball approach? :D

Yeah, Byron Scott is a good coach. He's going to have us in the play-offs, although I don't think we can get past the first round. Our roster isn't that bad, really.

Point Guard
Mo Williams
Ramon Sessions

Shooting Guard
Anthony Parker
Daniel Gibson

Small Forward

Jamario Moon
Danny Green

Power Forward

J.J. Hickson
Antawn Jamison

Center
Anderson Varejao
Ryan Hollins

As was suggested earlier, I think we'll see more of Daniel "Boobie" Gibson this year, and that's a good thing. I think JJ Hickson will also be Varejao and Jamison's back-up. Jamison should start at PF. I'd love to see the Cavs pick up one of Milwaukee's extra SG/SFs. If we could get Carlos Delfino or Chris Douglas-Roberts, that would be great.

I don't think the Cavs are any better than the Nets last year. Playoffs? Matt I admire your optimism but seriously I think China has a better chance in WBC Quarterfinals than this happening. Not that bad? It's TERRUUUUUUUUUUUUUBLE. Yes there are a couple athletic players who can run, and Gibson and MoWill can probably jack up some 3's here and there, but c'mon. No center, no ball distributor and no go-to-guy. I'll be shocked if the Cavs can win 30 games this year.

What!? At least we've got a good PF and a few serviceable guards!

Yeah, they'll get some points.
No center,
It's about time Anderson Varejao took over. And JJ Hickson is going to be a good player, too. Yeah, we do need some more beef, clearly.
no ball distributor
Mo Williams, man! This guy was a great playmaker in Milwaukee. He can still do it.
and no go-to-guy.
Jamison...? Maybe? Jamison and Williams can make plays, I guess.

No way, man. 40 wins will get us in the play-offs. In our division, we're better than Indiana and Detroit.

Anderson Varejao is not a real center. He's an energy guy that can throw _____ (Greek posters know what to fill in :D) but is quite unskilled and relied on pick-n-roll to generate points. JJ Hickson is better than expected, I agree, but he's also a PF. Mo Williams is not a real PG, but rather a SG trapped in a PG's body. He's clearly more comfortable shooting than distributing, and actually he's pretty bad at passing on the half-court set. Jamison is aging and not the shadow of his old self in DC or GSW. We'll see which of us is right after all but this lineup does not look very competitive. At all.

Uptempo does not necessarily translate to Run and Gun, nor it is about small ball. Byron Scott's uptempo system consists of playing both interior and and perimeter defense where in case of a defensive rebound, the players will make a mad rush to the basket. Sometimes Scott's system also employs full court press.

Brazilian center Anderson Varejao will not miss the World Championships due to anke injury and is presumably healthy coming into the Cavaliers training camp which starts off next month.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are working out Juan Dixon on the training facility. So far, both parties have not discussed a potential contract.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are working on an extension to General Manager Chris Grant. Sources said that the Cavaliers have offered a five year extension sheet.

I wonder what is the plan of the Cleveland Cavaliers management on Leon Powe. They signed him to a 3 year deal in the summer of 2008, fresh from a Boston Celtics championship stint and unfortunately, Powe has not been the serviceable slotman that the Cavaliers have wanted.

They could move him with his contract expiring and standing at $915,852. I bet teams will take a chance on Powe.

The Cleveland Cavaliers is set to name David Griffin as the organization's Vice President of Basketball Operations.

Restricted Free Agent Jawad Williams has accepted the Qualifying Offer of the Cleveland Cavaliers and will sign this week. The contract is a 1 year- partially guaranteed amounting to $1.02 Million.

Cleveland Cavaliers Point Guard Maurice Williams admitted on an interview with Yahoo! Sports that he felt hopeless after LeBron James decided to join the Miami HEAT.

"I contemplated retiring. I really sat down and envisioned life after basketball. I saw myself not playing. It just didn't' make sense to me. It doesn't make sense to me. This summer was very, very stressful for me. I really lost a lot of love for the game this summer."

"You play this game for one reason. You play to win games and win championships. I couldn't understand a lot of things that were happening to our organization, to a really good basketball team. I couldn't really understand it. And when you don't understand things, it can really stress you out."

Tough it up Mo. Its not like the end of the world for you. You have Millions on your bank account and have a lot of basketball playing years ahead whether with the Cavaliers or other teams.

Still, this is not the attitude you would desire for one of the veteran leaders you are banking on next season.
