After a huge upset over the Philippines on opening day and topping Group B, Palestine failed to make it to the Final Round after losing all 3 games in Group E against India, Japan, and Iran.

Meanwhile, Kazakhstan was eliminated from contention with a loss to Jordan.

A 9th place finish for Palestine would be a fitting end to their near Cinderella run in their FIBA Asia Championship debut.
