After falling to defending champions Iran, Korea failed to make it to the semifinal of the FIBA Asia Championship for the first time since 2009, where they finished 7th place.

India, on the other hand, has made an impressive run in this tournament, making it all the way to the quarterfinals for the first time since 2003.

Battle of the mobile bigs expected here.

Lee Seung-Hyun will not play so Korea is down a power forward and that leaves the rotation of Kang Sangjae and another SF such as Moon Tae-Young or Choi Joon-Young to play PF minutes.

korea should still win this, otherwise it would be a disaster for them.

Other Korea NT injured players:

PG Park Chan-Hee - left wrist sprain
PG Kim Tae-Sol - neck stiffness

HT: KOR 59 - IND 35.

Yang Dong-Geun and Moon Tae-Young have not logged a single minute. Tae-Sol playing with stiffness on the neck has 7 assts. Kang Sangjae and Cho Sung-Min are on target.

The Korean Dragon wiping the floor with India. Still all in all good tournament for india? Their best result ever?
There is defo room for improvement to them.

Of course, it's still a good FIBA Asia for them overall. First QF appearance since 2003 isn't that bad at all.

Give them Satnam Singh Bhamara and a good coach, they will be next Iran.

Kang Sangjae having a good game. His primary role is playing the power forward, setting up high screens and await the pass for a jumpshot. So far, Kang is making them.

phew good thing I didn't take the u156 especially with Korea's injured players. I knew India was going to give up a lot of points, but not this many!

Kim Tae-Sol has 9 assists and has run Korea's offense with the absence of Yang Dong-Geun.

Does FIBA still broadcast the classification games or Korean fans just got the live feeds from their local TV network?

76-46 Korea. Kim TS is in Akashi BEAST MODE. 10asts already.

Cho Sung-Min 16pts in 16mins, Kang Sangjae 14pts in 14mins. Moon Tae-Young 8pts in 6mins.

Korea with only 9 players will break the century mark for points in this game. All players scored except for Moon Seonggon.

EDIT:
