Taiwan was eliminated in the tournament by a Qatar double-OT win over Lebanon, while Singapore ended the first round with a 42-point loss to Korea, which has bounced back from a heartbreak loss to China.

Taiwan looks to win the Classification 13-16 Round as a fitting end to their golden generation, but there is still hope for the future of Taiwanese basketball. On the other hand, it is already an accomplishment for Singapore to enter the highest level of Asian basketball, and the future is bright for them as well.

Singapore will lose by 30-40 points again. Taiwan had bad luck being in the group of death and they are a much better team than the record shows.
