USVI definatelly missing the offensive threat of Kitwana Rhymer... Ja Ja is not a threat AT ALL

If you think about me it was totally uncalled for and I didn't deserve it. I asked a question and got an answer from somebody who understands that I may not know about your little PR-DR war. What did I do wrong???

Anyway, that is my last post here. I do not appreciate calling me a "troll" by somebody who thinks that being "senior member" gives him a right to do so. BTW, great way to get more people interested in this forum...

You know everytime Alí Berdiel enters the court, we play our opponents with just 4 guys.

He sucks so much, I would rather have brung one of our sub17 players instead of him.

I guess Manolo just saw his size and decided to bring him.

Man Cuba is lucky Belize had to play against us in the last game, I feel Belize was the better team.

17-15 Dominican Republic 1quarter

Villanueva isnt playing, cubans may have a chance here.

39-37 2 quarter

Dominicans will have to play their hearts out, their two best players are out.

Well, Jack Michael can still play, but his production will decrease.

I know what its like to play after you had calambre, and it will really bother him the rest of the game.

Hey guys, Ive been doing a comparison, between the 2008 and 2009 centrobasket, and I feel Reyes does a way better job than Peavy at getting rebounds. Maybe we shouldnt leave him out of Turkey

that is not the first time i notice that they just let the team slide ... even Manolo is better at that element of coaching :)

Dominican Republic wins 85-71.

It was an easier game than the final score indicates for the dominicans.

Puerto Rico will have to bring their A game tomorrow.

I don't think anybody wanted to insult you are anything. Give InterBaskset.Net another try. :D

As to the DR-PR rivalry, it might be a good idea to start a topic in the "UN Section" for that. Some people think it's history or race or politics, but I'm not sure anybody knows for sure. ;)

Cuba hit a three-pointer in the final seconds and it may have been tres puntos de oro for them due to the realistic chance of a three-way tie between Cuba, Mexico, and Belize. The normal FIBA tiebreaker is point differential between the tied teams and this is how it would end up:

Cuba +4
Mexico +2
Belize -6

Belize was up 92-70 with a minute left but pulled their best players and was outscored 8-2 over the last minute. Did they not realize the potential importance of the final margin?

Been away for the weekend and just catching up now...I called it, didn't I?

A shame for Belize, they could have had some success over the last decade if they'd been able to assemble their full team, but at this point all their top players are old and this was their best shot.
