Carlos Delfino signed a 3-year deal in Khimki for 8.5 million Euros net.

WOW, WOW and WOW!!!
Khimki is going head to head with Dynamo to the Euro-cup title and fight against CSKA.

Nothing's going down. But the players Europe can compete for are certainly getting better and better. That is a long process, and I don't think we've reached the peak yet. Let's hope it's not a bubble that will collapse one day.

However, this move surprises me, as both PAO and Oly reportedly were interested in this player.

Wait and see. Cheezdoodle was a very reliable source for years now without quoting newspapers. He has his own informations.

He confirmed the information about Delfino.
That truely is amazing.
 
I think this Delfino signing will in the end pan out the same as Monya's 2 milion € per season with Dynamo.
Delfino is good and all... but mostdefinately isn't worth those 3.5 mil... simply doesn't pan out as imo they could get loads of better players for such ammount.

But that is only a theory. Delfino had an average of almost 10 PPG in the NBA and is in his best age. He is worthy of a huge contract in Europe. I really dont see all these "better" players lining up to play in Europe .Biggest signing this summer thus far.

Delfino isn't that good. Seriously, he wasn't up to the standards PAO probably wants for a starter. Now talent wise, he's VERY good. HUGE talent, but his play level is poor.

Very bad basketball IQ and shot selection.

Oh please, Delfino can eat all the Pao small forwards for breakfast.

He is a true dynamite and it is a pity that we won't see him in EL.

we have lost control i think.30m for Delfino!!!!in ten years time with this rythm we will spend the same ammount of money as NBA!!!!
 
since some people have inside informations, please don't bug everyone with demanding a source. You'll learn with some time who to trust and to whoom not.

Everybody:
-don't post one liners
-don't post 2 short messages in a span of 3 minutes
-some people won't reveal their source and constantly demanding "source" becomes annoying for most people reading this thread
-read again the first post with Rikh posting up the guidelines for this kind of threads and try to stick to it.

I say this to many time, but all greek and russian user said who I'm jealous!!
Is crazy pay or think to pay 2M € for Moiso at Dynamo, 1,3M € for Vasilopoulos at Oly, 3M € for Jasikevicius at Pana, and all salary over 1M €.

this is a damage for european basket because this isn't the real value for this players :( :(
