For any WWE fans out there, last night Brock Lesnar became the UFC heavyweight champion after crushing legend Randy Couture at UFC 91. Now there's no doubt, Lesnar really is a "Manster", because he did it in the Octagon and not in the WWE, which is largely scripted and branded as "fake".

I'm not really a UFC fan, I just saw the clip of what Lesnar did to Randy and I was surprised, not shocked, but surprised given Couture's reputation and that this was only Brock's 4th UFC fight.

Yeah, I have to admit, I didn't think Lesner would pull it out.

...and now Lesnar is the undisputed UFC heavyweight champ after defeating interim champ Frank Mir, avenging Lesnar's only loss earlier in UFC.

It would appear that not even the "Manster" is immune to H1N1. Lesnar has been battling an illness for over a month, causing him to pull out of the upcoming UFC event. His trainer referred to H1N1 and said Lesnar has been unable to train for the last month and has been miserable. Man, if H1N1 can put a monster like Lesnar out of commission, I sure hope I don't get it.

Velasquez stuns Lesnar, claims UFC title

ANAHEIM, Calif. – Cain Velasquez weathered an early storm from Brock Lesnar and proved why he has long been regarded as one of the top prospects in the sport, pounding Lesnar in a stunningly brutal and one-sided fight to win the UFC heavyweight championship at the Honda Center in the main event of UFC 121.

Velasquez hurt Lesnar with nearly every punch he threw and knocked him down several times. After the final knockdown, Velasquez pounded him with elbows and punches before referee Herb Dean stopped it at 4:12 of the first.

“He was better than me tonight,” Lesnar said.

Lesnar roared out of his corner and threw a knee, but Velasquez answered with a hard combination that opened a small gash under Lesnar’s left eye. After they grappled briefly, Lesnar took Velasquez down hard.

Velasquez, though, was calm and worked back to his feet quickly. After one more Lesnar takedown, he bounced up and began letting his hands go. He battered the retreating Lesnar all over the ring, pummeling him with hard shots until Dean halted it.

Here's how he looked after the fight; and Velasquez celebrating his big win:

actually i was shocked. I was betting on lesnar. Eventually i lost the bet but it was one hell of a fight.
New comer to UFC: baptista. (former WWE heavyweight champion) MMA is becoming a much more famous game. Martial arts are finally having attention by journalists. Hopefully thaiboxing/MuayThai will become an official olympic game.
