Brazilian NBB national league

Franca signed PF Guilherme Teichmann from Flamengo. The team has also a new head coach: Lula Ferreira.

Palmeiras signed F Jordan Bürger. The team might play in NBB the upcoming season.
 
BRB Brasília re-signed G Nezinho dos Santos for three more seasons. The team also keeps Guilherme Giovannoni and Alex Garcia.
 
Flamengo finished the first half of the season with 0 losses. They tied their own record of 17 straight wins they got in the 2008/09 season. They are dominating right now.

Paulistano of young coach Gustavinho De Conti (34 years old) was the second

São José the third,

and 4th place Mogi das Cruzes was the biggest surprise of season, was 12th place in regular season, and eliminated big teams like Pinheiros and Limeira in the playoffs, coached by the spanish Paco Garcia and led by Marcus Toledo (former LEB ORO - Spain), and role players like Gustavinho (1m78 point guard) and power-forward Daniel Alemao.
