Reports in Israel's Sport 5 indicates that Bosna Sarajevo is close to being dissolved do to economic problems and failure to pay for registration for BH league.
Any truth in this? The aforementioned web site is very unreliable when it comes to reports on European basketball other then MTA.
True. They have problems paying expenses of game day organization. Imagine that. :(

Mile Ilic to play for BIH? - Apr 6, 2011 (by Nedzad Kladusak)
Last week Mile Ilic (215-C-84, agency: Beo Basket) confirmed that he is negotiating a possible return to KSBIH. The Tuzla-native center complained about the way serbian basketball federation treated him after he picked up an injury during the World championships. After that injury his NBA career and after short periods in Spain and Russia he ended up in the serbian league. He still didnt make a final decision whether he will officially apply for the renaturalisation process. Harun Mahmutovic announced he will wait until Ilic commits himself to KSBIH since it wouldn t be the first time that players want to use the national team for personal marketing. Despite Ilic has got great size and good basketball fundamentals he can t fully compense the loss of Sinanovic, Begic, Barac and Rizvic.

I know the situation with other 3 players mentioned, but what's up with Sinanovic? Somehow I missed info why he is not playin' for BiH NT

They will not win the Eurobasket... but they will make some team loose it. Tricky team if well trained and motivated. Nothing to loose and a lot to win...

again...everyone talked about this EuroBasket being the strongest that have ever been but we see more and more good players leaving. Besides that, half of the team are semi-amateurish...only good are more games and maybe some surprises. Of course it can help to develop basketball in some countries but is EuroBasket for that? No...

It's little off-topic but damn, it's getting worse and worse.. (and if Lithuania won't succeed, then it will be terrible EB at all)...

It's dissapointing to say the least. There're only couple of teams, which might come with best line-ups, all others are missing one or few of their key players or even more. Ok, some might say - it'll be easier for us, but when you're hosting such event - you want it to be close to perfect, you want to see best players/teams, but almost everyday we hear about injuries, withdrawals, excuses and etc etc etc... Sad
