What are the FIBA/International Basketball scoring records?

I was curious if there are any official or unofficial records for international basketball games. I follow college basketball closely in the USA and remember Troy State beating Devries 258-137 as Troy State made 47 of 109 3-pointers.

I watched Iran play Malaysia yesterday and it was like men playing boys. I remember seeing that Japan beat Sri Lanka last year by 148-45.

Anyone know of official records or certain games that you recall with most points or lopsided wins?

I can't recall any but your inquiry reminds me something else I have question my self as well.

I know that we have so far seen the triple double achievement.

A triple-double is defined as a performance in which a player accumulates a double digit number total in three of five statistical categories—points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocked shots—in a game. The most common way for a player to achieve a triple-double is with points, rebounds, and assists

So...

Did we ever had a fourth double or a fifth double? Sounds like impossible.

I am searching to find a pro player that had five to five. Double digits in five different categories. :D

NBA games are 48 minutes. Here is the list of quadruple doubles getting 4 of the 5 categories. Getting 10 steals and 10 blocks in a game would be hard to do so 5 of 5 would be very difficult to do.

10/18/74 Chicago vs Atlanta Nate Thurmond 22 pts. 14 rebs. 13 asst. 12 blks.
02/18/86 San Antonio vs Phoenix Alvin Robertson 20 pts. 11 rebs. 10 asst. 10 stls
03/03/90 Houston vs Golden State Hakeem Olajuwon 29 pts. 18 rebs. 10 asst. 11 blks.
03/29/90 Houston vs Milwaukee Hakeem Olajuwon 18 pts. 16 rebs. 10 asst. 11 blks.
02/17/94 San Antonio vs Detorot David Robinson 34 pts. 10 rebs. 10 asst. 10 blks

I think Armenia deserves to be mentionned in this thread. In 2007, they send teams at the U16 and U18 european division B championship.

U16
Bosnia-Herzegovina vs Armenia: 236-27 :D
Irland vs Armenia: 124-35
Austria vs Armenia: 137-26
England vs Armenia: 139-24
Roumania vs Armenia: 100-38
Norway vs Armenia: 106-27

Norway and Roumania finished 19th and 20th on 21 teams. No need to explain who finished last.

The U18 team was way better losing only 141-33 to Poland for example.

So is the 236-27 the biggest blowout ever?

In the under 16 and under 18 competitions, do they also play 40 minutes (4 quarters of 10 minutes)?
High schools in the USA only play 32 minutes (4 quarters of 8 minutes).

Jesus Christ, how can you allow 236 points in a single game?I think if I played alone I wouldn't allow any team to score that many. That's just ridiculous.

If you would play alone vs 5 - you even wouldn't able to cross your own 3pts line majority of times - lose the ball and receive easy points. Now calculate how many you would receive if your own possesion would last some 5-10s and rival's quite the same and probably even less. Let's assume some 10pts/min = 400/game.
With those kids situation is similar. If you'll press harder - they'll make mistakes and you'll score easy points. Possesions there doesn't last long too, especially if one team can score whenever they wants to.
