Other than basketball, I'll be watching...

In no particular order

1) Track & Field
2) Swimming
3) Fencing
4) Gymnastics
5) Boxing

-Soccer
-Field Hockey
-Track & Field
-Swimming
-Weight lifting

For me Olympics is something special, the greatest event ever :) During Olympics, I can watch every sport, even that ones, which I'm not watching at all (f.e. gymnastics, archery, fencing, synchronized swimming or some others) :)

But if I had to choose Top5 (besides bball), it probably would be (in no particular order):

Track & Field
Soccer
Handball
Modern pentathlon
Swimming

boxing definitely

our strenght and I know the kid who will be Puerto Rico's flag bearer who will fight in the 51kgs division

this is complete list of all sports in olympics:

Archery
Athletics
Badminton
Baseball
Basketball
Beach Volleyball
Boxing
Canoe/Kayak Flatwater
Canoe/Kayak Slalom
Cycling BMX
Cycling Mountain Bike
Cycling Road
Cycling Track
Diving
Equestrian
Fencing
Football
Gymnastics Artistic
Gymnastics Rhythmic
Trampoline
Handball
Hockey
Judo
Modern Pentathlon
Rowing
Sailing
Shooting
Softball
Swimming
Synchronized Swimming
Table Tennis
Taekwondo
Tennis
Triathlon
Volleyball
Water Polo
Weightlifting
Wrestling

i wouldn't say that i'll watch all the sport's except the following, but if those are on tv i won't change channel. so it's easier to count sports that i wouldn't watch at all (except maybe my wife would insist... :( )

Archery
Canoe/Kayak Flatwater
Canoe/Kayak Slalom
Cycling BMX
Cycling Mountain Bike
Equestrian
Fencing
Gymnastics Artistic
Trampoline
Sailing
Shooting
Softball
Synchronized Swimming
Weightlifting (maybe with exception when Vysniauskas, the only lith in this event, will perform)

i'll pay special attention to:
men: basketball, football
women: beach volleyball
both: tennis, table tennis, handball

I will watch all olympic sports (except Baseball, Softball, Modern Pentathlon and Triathlon) and my favorites are :

1) Wrestling
2) Weightlifting (specially superheavy weight)
3) Taekwondo
4) Judo
5) Track & Field (specially Men's Discus throw)
6) Boxing
7) Volleyball
8) Gymnastics
9) Swimming
10) Table tennis
....

17 days ! i cant wait ...

Football (Soccer) besides the basketball ... I'm excited to see Messi burn everyone in his path or Ronaldhino showing the world some "Joga bonito" :D

It's Futbol Lindo vs Joga Bonito

Track and Field
Swimming
Women's beach Volleyball (nuff said)

aside from that whatever is on when there's nothing else on TV.

1) Athletics (I hope some new World Records will be broken. The 100 meters will be really nice. There are 3 athletes that can run the 100 meters in less than 10 seconds).
2) Tennis
3) Football
4) Weightlifting
5) Volleyball

5 choices is not enough..
my primary focus besides basketball will be on:
handball
waterpolo
volleyball (indoor)
athletics
swimming
tennis

the rest I will follow as much as possible..
I'm planning on installing three TV's and two satellite receivers and taking two weeks off from work..
these are olympics for god sake..
there is a 6 hours difference between Beijing and Zagreb and that means getting up at 3am and watching sports until 17 pm..
my wife isn't happy about it but it's only every 4 years..

the only sport I'm not planning to watch is football.. except of maybe semifinals and finals..

Feel free to pick more if you truly feel it. I don't pay attention to other Olympic sports as much as I should but I tend to hang around these events a little longer than others:

Swimming
Diving
Track and Field
Trampoline (I was so entranced by this in 2004)
Table Tennis
Athletics
Gymnastics

Same here, bro. I like to watch everything, although, honestly, the only two individual sports I really ENJOY watching are boxing and table tennis. Nevertheless, I watch the gymnastics and athletics.

This Olympics, I'll watch the ff:
1. Boxing
2. Taekwondo
3. Swimming
4. Shooting
5. Archery
6. Soccer

Hard to pick just five since I'm sure I'll set a world record for Olympic hours watched, but I'd say:

Athletics, Swimming, Gymnastics--hard to avoid these three on American TV.
Soccer, at least when the US is playing.
Volleyball

All the events are entertaining though...even in the shooting events where they just stand and fire at a target you get funny things like the guy who hit the wrong target in the last round in 2004.

For some bizarre reason I am not terribly eager for the Olympics to start. Maybe once the start I'll get into the mood but so far I am pretty indifferent which is so not me. Maybe it's because, unlike previous Olympics, I haven't got much to look forward to, or it could be that my overwhelming anticipation for the new EL season is shadowing even the Olympics themselves. Normally however i would look forward to basketball of course, track and field, weightlifting, and pretty much every team sport except football baseball, sofball and field hockey.

Athletics - Discus, hoping Alekna to bring back gold again, our main gold chance for the Olympics.
