Koponen is now a way worse player than he was in Khimki, he only is a good shooter. If you want him as a the backup SG, great add, as the starting SG, not enough. The same goes for Vezenkov.

Barcelona must do something like this to be on the road again:

Pangos-XXX
Wanamaker-Ribas-XXX
Hanga-XXX
XXX-Oriola-Claver
Seraphin or Tomic-XXX

With Jenkins, Ericksson or Thomas, Paulí, a star in the SF position, choosing between Tomic and Seraphin and a back up C such as Dunston, and they will have a monster team. With a proper coach, like Saras to say one. Too much changes they need, and is not easy.

Real Madrid will have the same team, only Doncic will leave, and that's important, the continuity of a project.

I also have to say that the law inj the ACB league will change, nowadays you must have 4 cupos and 2 non-cotonou players in your teams, and this summer, that contract ends. There are rumours about 4 cupos, 4 cotonous and 4 non-cotonous. If it is true, the teams will have more flexibility to do the rosters.

i will talk for panathinaikos. he would be great for 10-15 backup to calathes and perhaps some minutes next to him. the starting backcourt should be calathes,james and koponen,pappas behind them would be great
 
I just said he could shine again.
Of course as sort of role player.
He is great shooter but unlike Nunnalli or Guduric he could even contribute in F4 next season.

Guduric is nothing special, but Nunally used as an ofensive specialist, he has room in every team on Europe.

You left out Navarro. He said he wants to play on and as we know, he has a ten year contract.
 
Pesic will most likely remain in Barca, Saras in Zalgiris.

So the roster is done

Pangos - Heurtel
Kuric - Ribas - Blazic
Hanga - Claver
Singleton - Oriola - Smits
Tomic - Seraphin - Pustovyi

The perfect team to me was with Rivers/Nunnally in 3, Claver in 4 and Pustovyi out. So Rivers instead of Pustovyi, because Oriola and Chris can play 5. However the team is really good and I think this time they will reach the F8.
 
I doubt about reaching playoffs. These players have no defensive potential, only Hanga and sometimes Singleton is decent, Claver and Ribas aren't bad. The others are black holes in D.
 
Wow what a game and a cup final. The refs didn't give an obvious basket foul to Singleton at the end and Barça still defeated Madrid.


Congratz to Barça.
